I don't need to know that microsoft is ending support for windows 7. Every time I sign on, there is a message saying so. There should be an option to not display this message every time I sign on.
Also I got an email from one of the aol testers that might explain why aol is slow at times, but there is no solution. Some of you might have the same issue that I do. I quote,
What appears to be happening is that all your physical memory is being used, and is swapping to the hard drive. We are not sure why it is using so much physical memory, if it is a web page that is using it or not. We are unable to reproduce the issue with just a simple launch of the client, and even with content intensive web pages it seems to do okay, even with half the RAM you have. We can't replicate the hardware you have closely, I find my Athlon X2 260 to be unusable at this point in time.
Nothing in the error logs indicate any issues. Some of the additional information does indicate that it is using about half the available RAM at the time of the bug report, which is higher than we usually see.
We continue to investigate your reports, but to date we have found nothing that is actionable
