It can be frustrating when websites don't work the way they're supposed to. If you're unable to access an AOL website, but others load just fine, you may be experiencing a DNS issue.
What is a DNS?
DNS stands for "Domain Name System." It's a necessary part of accessing the internet. When you type the name of a URL into your browser bar, a DNS will translate that address into a numerical IP to connect you to the intended site.
How do I resolve a DNS error?
Try accessing the website on another browser or device. If this resolves the issue, you'll just need to make sure your preferred browser is supported and updated to the latest version.
Try accessing the website from another internet connection. For example, if you've been trying to reach the site on your Wi-Fi connection, switch to cellular data on a smartphone.

To protect all users, we temporarily block email sending on accounts that are flagged with spam-like or suspicious sending habits. If you're seeing "suspicious activity detected" or "account temporarily blocked from sending messages", you'll still have access to your mail and receive messages while you wait for the hold to expire.

stop putting unread emails in my trash folder from organizations I read and do business with. also stop putting similar emails in my spam.

Hi there. This can happen if you have a filter set on your email settings. Please log in at mail.aol.com through a laptop/PC, click Settings>More Settings>Filters. If you see a filter there, please delete it. Additionally, please review this article to make sure your account is secure: https://help.aol.com/articles/recognize-a-hacked-aol-mail-account As for the legit emails going to Spam, please keep marking them as Not Spam so your personal spam filter learns to recognize them as legit. Allow edit of contact e-mail addresses! One has a typo but if I try to correct it in a new message, the program re-inserts the typo!!!
I can't even see the contact list from old versions! Is that a FEATURE?

To access and edit your contacts, tap on the More (3 dots) menu from the bottom right corner, select Contacts, select the one you wish to edit then tap on the 3 dots from the top right corner to edit, share, copy to clipboard or delete. FOLDERS Where are the folders and move option to those folders?!!!!!!
There had been a heading for folders.At the Bottom of the emails to the right side they were 3 dots. 1 of the choices when you open the 3 dots was that you could move the email to a specific folder? Where are those choices now?!!!!
On the mobile app, the folders are at the bottom left of your screen. you can toggle between them, with the icon being the folder you're currently viewing.
