Thanks for the feedback.
We’re really sorry to hear your displeasure with the advertising on the AOL App. In order for AOL to offer things like web content and products, we need to sell advertising just like any newspaper, magazine or television station would.
But we certainly don’t want to get to a point where we start to lose our valued audience, so your feedback is greatly valued.

Hello there. If you have trouble receiving emails, the first steps we recommend you take is to check your Spam Settings and your Filter and Alerts settings. Please ensure they do not contain harmful filters that may prevent incoming emails from reaching your Inbox. Should you find such filters, we recommend removing or modifying them, as needed. Please sign out and back in for the changes to take full effect.
We also recommend resetting the password and making sure the account is secure: https://help.aol.com/articles/recognize-a-hacked-aol-mail-account

After entering the new password, the app loops back to the sign in screen. After numerous attempts to verify my identity via text message to my cell phone and voice message to my landline phone, I will get the "Congratulations" screen that my password has been changed. But when I select "Continue", I am directed again to the sign in screen. Entering my password again is unsuccessful. This is a vicious…

2. Tap the folder your message is in.
3. Tap the box next to the messages you want deleted.
4. Alternatively, tap Select All after selecting the first message.
5. Tap the Delete icon at the top of the screen.

If you've started to receive an endless flow of junk email, you may be the victim of spam bombing. This is a tactic used by bad actors and hackers to distract you from seeing emails that really are important to you. More info here: https://help.aol.com/articles/Control-excessive-spam-email

While most spam emails are being caught by our spam filters, occasionally some can slip through.
When this happens, it's very important to mark the email as spam, then our system will learn that messages from a specific place are not good and helps us make AOL Mail even better at recognizing future spam emails.

I see others with the same problem. It's impossible to compose an email on my phone. The cursor jumps to another place and time.
Since it's impossible to compose an email, I forward to another account. After more than 30 years, it might be time to truly relegate my AOL account to a place for junk mail .
Hi. This issue is currently under investigation by our team and we hope to have a fix in a new update to the AOL app. In the meantime, I would suggest using a different keyboard than the one you have, such as GBoard (Google keyboard) or Microsoft SwiftKey. We appreciate your cooperation!
