    Hi there Robert! This is a security feature to keep your account protected. Most probably you have a 2 step verification enabled on your account. Although we would suggest you to keep the 2 step verification, you can disable it by following this steps from our help website:https://help.aol.com/articles/2-step-verification-stronger-than-your-password-alone

  2. Provide an easy, quick process for updating phone #. This is maddening - multiple options for new password but zero for updated phone #??

    Easier to change password than phone # - makes no sense! Cannot get into my all from public computer as all verification options involve my OLD # & nothing described or shown to update phone #????

  3. Why am I unable to sign in using fingerprint?

    I use an Android device and with ALL my Apps (except AOL mail) I can sign in using fingerprint. Why does AOL not offer me biometric logon?

    Hi there! Biometrics are usually set up on your security area from your settings. You may be able to see more info regarding Biometric sign in on our help site: help.aol.com.

  4. I'm so angry. I've had this account for decades and now I am constantly told it has redirected too many times and so it doesn't load.

    I would give up on AOL except I've been using this email for 30 years so it is pretty embedded.

  6. I can't open my email on my android phone.It says AOL keeps stopping and app info and close app.This just started .

    I am unable to open my email on my moto e android phone. I can open them on my desk top.It says AOL keeps stopping & App Info & Close App.Some times it will open the first email but no more after that unless l restart the phone.This just started in the last day or to.Please let me know what you find.Thank you .William Farley

  7. Please autoset white color for'the letters in the mails when using the dark mode....

    On most.of the.email.the letters are still in black so when you use the dark mode the email are unreadable. You need either to autoset white color for letters or allow the mail to remain with a white background.

  11. Your applock locked me out even though I inputted the correct pass over 7 times. Uninstalled it and reinstalled it, now I'm afraid to use it

    In more detail? wth I just did. So a day before I had to reset my phone to factory default. Before the reset, the AOL Applock worked fine, then it didn't accept my device password and that's the reason I wrote today at 2 in the morning. Get it together guys your apps got amnesia. fix it.

  15. Deleting messages in the app does not delete them from the inbox when I log into AOL on the computer! What's wrong with this?

    Make sure that if a message gets deleted through the app it also gets deleted in the desktop version!!

  17. Restore & Provide IMAP password to allow Verizon.net customers to access Email in 3rd Email such as Outlook. This is URGENT. Thank you.

    Until apprx 6/16/24, Verizon.net Email was received in 3rd party Email such as Outlook. IMAP settings are needed to allow incoming & outgoing email to be received & sent in Outlook. An update for requiring 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) was implemented around this time. A new Verizon/AOL IMAP password may need to be entered to restore Outlook Email for Verizon.Net Email addresses. Please advise. Thank you for your help; this is an urgent need.

  20. improve customer service online and by phone.

    your phone service is awful. I kept being asked for the first three letters of my email address and your robot kept saying it didn't get it. one person hung up on me.
