I keep getting emails from AOL telling me to update my acctg or I will not receive anymore incoming emails. I think it's a hack!!!

In most cases, this problem is caused by the incoming mail filters on your account. To verify your incoming mail filters, please go to mail.aol.com using a desktop computer, and click on Options on the top right, then Mail Settings, and finally Filter Settings on the left side of the page.
On the Filter Settings page, review the filters that are set up to move your incoming emails to the trash folder, then edit or delete them, in order to receive your emails in your Inbox.

To see all your folders, tap on the Inbox button from the bottom of the app then select the folder you wish to open.

where are my deleted emails? sometimes I hit the trash by mistake thinking its mail and im losing my emails.

The Trash folder is automatically emptied every 7 days.

Delete all those incorrect email addresses that pop up with autocomplete. AOL saves every error I or they ever made, just to force me to go
AOL needs to allow us to delete all those erroneous email addresses that pop up with Autocomplete. They serve no useful purpose and are very annoying.
Hi there. You can delete unwanted email addresses that pop-up in the ’’To’’ field when composing, by clicking ’’x’’ from the right side of each of these email addresses. This option is only available when accessing mail.aol.com through a desktop computer or laptop.

While I am reading an email, don't auto open new email. I haven't finished reading the 1st one. Very annoying!
When new email arrives while I'm reading another, it is annoying when app auto opens that new arrival. It's ok to have audible sound for new mail, but not to automatically open it.
Hi there! Please uninstall/reinstall the email app or remove and re-add your account to it. If the issue persists, please turn your phone off/on and switch between data and WIFI.

new app just not working as well as before. some emails saying sent and never arriving. becoming unreliable

I can no longer save my emails in folders which is really frustrating. I try to save the email to a folder and it just stays in my inbox.
please let us move our emails into folders

use my facebook ID it is just the same as my aol. Now I can't get into this site. I have been the same ID for years.

stop trying to fix something that is not broken!
We did send an email that we’re updating our authentication policies around third-party email access to better protect your email account. You may need to update your account settings in third-party programs to use a more secure approach. By default, we block access to your email account if you are using outdated apps that could leave your account vulnerable. If we sent you an email indicating that your app is using outdated security protocols or you’re unable to log in from an older app, you still have several options available to you. I am unable to click links in my email. This just started a couple of days ago. I am using an Android and it had been updated.

I have tried various ways and it doesnt work I have misspelled it and really need to change it can you help
