In the AOL app you can only change the edition of it by going to Settings > Edition.
You will have to make sure that the language of your device is not set to French. To check that go to Settings(on your device) > General management > Language and input

that does not work for mine, I constantly switch it to English and don't speak French at all and can't understand it in French to switch
