I Just started having this same problem. Closing app restarting app doesnt help.
Restarting phone then restarting app also doesnt work at all.
It seems time is the only thing that clears the issue.
It really just makes you not wany to bother using AOL at all.Oh it seems my app was never getting email...I had to go on the web interface to get it...see what I mean, if you cant get mail or news stories...what is the point of the app?

content blank when I click on email header too on Android phone are we supposed to stop using AOL for email now?

In the last month or so, very frequently, news articles would display with a header but no content. (I am using the AOL app on a Google Pixel 7 Pro.)
I have discovered that terminating and restarting the AOL app temporarily fixes the problem most of the time. When it doesn't, then clearing the app's cache and then a terminate/restart always does the trick.
This is a nasty annoying bug for users. Fixing it should be a high priority task!
