The settings have been changed and I am receiving offers even though I did not ask for them. If I turn this off, I will not receive any notifications anymore.

I've had my AOL email forever, and this is the first time I've considered getting rid of it. Make the Top Story popup go away!! I should have the option to not see it, especially when I have news notifications OFF. DON'T FORCE unwanted annoyances on longtime loyal customers, if you want to keep them. PLEASE fix this.
