    In the current version of AOL you are required  to provide a mobile phone number to protect your online safety. It's important to have updated information should you ever need to change your account settings, reset your password or contact AOL customer support.

    To sign out of the AOL app, you need to tap your profile picture, go to Manage accounts > Edit > Remove.

  4. I dislike that after opening a new email it's moved from the "New mail" folder to the "Old mail" folder. Pls make this optional in Settings.

    I see that this suggestion has been made. Still, I'll reiterate it. The status quo is very inconvenient and a major issue to me.

    Hi there, 

    I would recommend switching to the unified inbox style. Go to mail.aol.com through a laptop or PC, click Options>Mail Settings>Inbox Style>save settings. Then uninstall/reinstall the AOL app so these settings reflect in the app.

  15. The new AOL App sucks. Go back to the old version. I had a stroke a while back. This is really screwing with my continued health problems.

    email response keeps jumping to the bottom of the page. getting me dizzy trying to follow where I am in the email.

  17. **** app now stop jumping to the bottom of my email. can't respond properly to anything need to see if there is an alternative mailer!

    keeps jumping to the bottom of the mail. imagine I had very important information to relay to someone and this fault ****** it up! to whom would I serve the court papers if something really bad happened because of it?

    Hi there,

    Please check your phone’s app permissions then select AOL and deny permission to location. After you did this, close/re-open the app and the location icon will appear for you to tap it and you will need to allow the AOL app to access the device’s location while using the app.

    Sorry to hear that you are having a bit of trouble with the App. To resolve this, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:

    1. Clear the app’s cache

    2. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove

    3. Restart your mobile device

    4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data
