Old inbox mail
I’m not able to access and read my old mails. Whenever a mail comes in and read, it automatically goes away instead of moving or staying in the old mail folder/section.
I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile dataYou could also switch to the Unified Inbox view by following the steps in this article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-switch-to-the-unified-inbox-view, and make sure that all the other email apps that are you using are set up as IMAP.

Can’t get mail on iPhone
Since verizon moved to aol I’m having trouble getting mail to migrate to my phone and computer. It won’t sign on keep getting same error message

Access old mail
Since latest update I can’t access my old mail anymore. Right now, August 9th, 2018, my old mail only goes back until July 12, 2018. How do I retrieve the rest. Problem occurs on Apple devices mobile app and Windows computer.

This issue might be a result of using the account configured as POP, in one of your mail clients or mobile devices.
POP downloads email from a server to a single computer/device, then deletes it from the server. Because your messages get downloaded to a single computer or device and then deleted from the server, it can appear that mail is missing or disappearing from your Inbox if you try to check your mail from a different computer.
Please check your account setup on all of your devices and email clients (e.g. Outlook, Mac Mail, Windows Live Mail), and for the ones that are using the account as POP, please make sure to have the option to leave a copy of the message on the server checked, or setup the account to use IMAP instead of POP.
