AOL and Yahoo both appear to be owned by Verizon Media. The Yahoo app seems to work fine - like one can open links within an email, one can attach files from one’s iPhone or iCloud Drive (although not sure if it’s able to access OneDrive) while one cannot open links in AOL or attach anything but photos.
Makes one wonder why AOL cannot use the Yahoo app technology. Only reason I have the AOL app is because former @verizon.net customers had to move to AOL to keep our Verizon email address.

I recommend using the aol mail app (envelope in the center of app icon). The links open up in Safari. The aol app that also contains news, etc. does not link to safari when you use the email section.

If you can’t provide a reliable and usable web browser inside the app just dump it and let us use safari or chrome or Firefox. Not having an address bar or any reliable navigation is a complete joke. You are only making yourselves look bad by continuing to push this subpar app development.

I’m sick of having to log in about every 3rd or 4th time I want to read my mail. But not being able to OPEN ANYTHING within an email is totally ridiculous. If I hadn’t had AOL for so many years I would use something else. Apparently it’s happening only on Apple products because my daughter has a Galaxy Note 8 and she has no problem.

When is the issue with links not opening on iPhones going to be fixed? There are countless complaints about this, and nothing has been done. Are these complaints going to a black hole? AOL needs to fix this problem now, if they don’t want to lose email accounts, including me.

AOL has become the worst web SERVER ever. I can’t get my emails on my iPhone. If my email address hadn’t been with me starting in the 1990s I would totally remove AOL from all my systems. It started with my desk top then my iPad and I got them back and learned the new ways and now I can’t get the **** emails on my phone 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Holding the link to open on safari or any other browser is a bit annoying now, when they used to go automatically. Please fix this.
