Let me receive my AOL emails on my mail app for the iPhone. This AOL app isn’t what I want to use to receive and send my emails.
I want my AOL emails to return to my iPhone mail app. I don’t want to use your AOL app. Pretty sneaky of AOL to decide for me how I choose to receive a send emails. Especially on Christmas Day I want nothing to do with your app yet you force me to do so to get my emails on my iPhone. Extremely rotten of you to do so Once again you did it on Christmas Day. As if I don’t have anything better to do than spend 2 plus hours calling researching and being told to pay a fee to talk to a technician that might be able to help me. ROTTEN ROTTEN ROTTEN AOL PEOPLE. 👎🏿👎🏾👎🏽👎🏼👎🏻👎.

AGREE! NO MORE ADS!
And it doesn’t sync with the email on my IPhone. When I copy a document I cannot then click on my IPhone to send the document via email as I used to do -

I 100% agree! The time has arrived to separate myself from AOL, and begin using my Comcast e-mail address. I have used AOL since 2004, and have been paying for AOL Gold Desktop since it was released. I have never been happy with Gold’s performance, but have kept it based on the large quantity of Favorites that I have saved, and their ease of use.
I want my e-mails Ad free, and direct through my iPhone app.
I will endure the change back to Comcast, however in the long run it will be a worth it, along with saving me the monthly AOL Gold charge.

I have followed the AOL app instructions the best that I can understand computer gobbledegoop. You people think everyone understands computer. I call! I get put on hours long hold. Never heard of working from home? What really annoys me the most I have been an AOL customer since the beginning. I have used my address all over the world with out issue until now. Truly a sad operation has taken the reins at AOL.

I agree with all the negative comments. I just want to read my emails.....I do not want to be bombarded with ads and USA news.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FORCE US TO USE THE APP!!! I do not want the app, your newsfeed, your ads, the apparently uncontrolled spam plaguing the app, and I especially do not want my contacts and emails of the past 20 years held *******!! I need my email to be seamless and to work, not to be complicated by your money making ambitions. We already have an app that does all that! You can't even claim you need to target me and sell my data to provide a free service because I ALREADY PAY FOR THE SERVICE AND HAVE FOR YEARS!!!! How about respecting your customer base for a change and trying to understand why they've stuck with you all these years so that you can make money by actually having a great company that provides people with what they really want instead of this uncreative bullsh---???? You have the most devoted customer base of any company and you are really dissing them with this move....

So confused. The emails from AOL are not clear. Trying to get Customer Service to no avail. Very upset about not understanding what’s happening with my email starting 10/20. Agree with comments below. I am an essential worker and can’t be stressing over my email address that I have had since the 90’s!!

I agree with all the comments. Hate this new format. How many people do you have to hear from to ditch this and go back to original?

This is the most horrible thing that AOL can do to its users especially in a pandemic that is causing so many deaths and hardships. In order to speak to a Tech
you have to pay. This is robbery on their part. I don’t need any insurance on my devices and in order to just ask some questions, they ask for your charge number.
Nothing is straight forward or user friendly.
After 20 years of having AOL for emails, this ultimatum of stopping this service is unfathomable.
The print on the new method through
Google or Safari is much too small.
I’m a very unhappy camper with AOL
and there tactics. -

I couldn’t agree more with the user who said let me use my aol mail with third-party apps. This prioritary aol mail app stinks!

I am going crazy using this app on my iPhone! I can’t save anything to my safari bookmarks! We can’t open anything in safari to save it! Heck, give my access to my phone mail program like I had before! I’m ready to throw out all my old contacts and start over with a non-aol e-mail if you guys can’t fix this like TODAY! No one is going to stay with aol email addresses 🤪

This app is terrible. Can’t even get new emails . Constantly clicking on inbox and no new emails show up/open, nor do the spams.
It’s lousy. Can’t use it! I need to see mail ASAP, not hours later if at all! -

I want to receive my emails from the app on my iPhone. The aol app is not working for me. Whenever someone shares an article for me that is sent to my email (from say facebook) I cannot open the article when I select it.

I was very happy with AOL in my IPHONE till I had to download a separate app for “security” reasons. Of course this is really just a marketing technique to tell advertisers know many people use the new AOL app. The app is harder to read, search old emails, delete Ones I don’t need, etc. I pay $5.99 a month for AOL Desktop Gold and resent needing a separate app for my IPhone.

What is going to happen to my email accounts if I delete the app or change phones or whatever. Because I’m having some problems with the app and aol as well. A lot of things need to be added.I don’t understand why you guys are doing this. You took our ability to make accounts away are you taking this away and then not sure why. Sometimes I need to delete the app for some reason whatever the reason is what’s going to happen when they do that on the 20th. I don’t know why they are doing this anyway I hate change and customer support it’s not that great I keep sending stuff I don’t get any answers ever

I’ve been a customer since 1996, and I have to change from mail app to AOL app even though it is an inferior product. Not nice!
