Pulling a couple of articles about migrant caravans
These current articles have inflamed thousands to incite violence and threats of killing other humans. We should all have a say but when it becomes frenzied and a call to take up arms against other citizens and human beings, we have gone too far. Please consider taking these two articles down and let those who want to hurt others, calm down. This is Hitler mentality at it's best. This is not America or our way of treating others.

Stop harassing me about notifications!
How many times do i have to click on the dam x for notifications? I don't want notifications and i'm not going to change my mind no matter how many times you ask me! I clicked it once when signed in and that should be more than enough to stop the bs!

When it shows response to my comments and I click on it, it won't take me back to look at them??? Very frustrating.

Inaccurate picture headlines
How young and inexperienced are your AOL.com headline gatherers? A little while ago you had multiple days of Richard Gere's picture under a headline about Robin Williams...and Robin's last name was misspelled this way: "Willaims". Now today you have a headline about filmmaker/animator Terry Gilliam not apologizing about being a white man...and your headline says "Actor:...." Guys, I'm available to replace whoever you got doing this. I'm based in ***********.

Two Things which makes me not want to continue on with AOL.
Two things I don't like. 1) Why do all the stories appear in Slide show format? I won't click through those long ridiculous slide shows. I just Google it to find the information I want. I suppose to get the most advertising space available? 2) On the front page is a lady gaga story how she hates Trump. It has been there for months! Why? Do you not refresh your news? I noticed you post older posts from months ago? Do you really need to keep lady gaga's opinion out there in front?

Customizable news articles/sites for the homepage
Let Each Customer Decide. If i want to see nothing from the Washington post.... then i should be able to make that choice. If i want less political sites, more fun or educational sites, and less ad articles on the homepage, i should be able to customize that and have it stay that way the next time i log in... Been an AOL member for over a decade, never seen the homepage be so full of hateful articles ALL the time like it is now.

Remove the reply option or allow users to delete replies made to their comments. The trolls are out of hand and AOL blocking people from calling trolls trolls is stupid.Guess you are looking to lose more business because of the trolls

You can improve AOL by not shutting down your comment section.
Trump KNOWS that ALL experts advise wearing masks , yet risks the lives of others by acting contrary to this expert advice and encouraging others to ignore it , as well as social distancing.
People are dying because Trump supporters follow their leader -- which is another reason to vote him out this November. -

Stop allowing comments on stories. You are contributing to hatred and possibly violence.

Block Rochester Busines Journal (a paid/subscription site) from the local news section.
Pleas consider blocking the Rochester Business Journal (RBJ) from thew local news for Rochester, NY. If you click on a story headline, you go to what is obviously a paid /subscription site to read a sentence or two, with the rest of the article upon subscribing.

Make comments on news articles for paid AOL users only
The news comments are getting way out of control. After checking I find that most of the really bad ones are from guest contributors, not paid members of AOL. I pay for my subscription and find some of the obscene and hateful things said by these "guests" are so out of control they are beyond disgusting. The other day, I saw one person sign on with several "handles" but had the same icon. His comments were way out of line with the Oath TOS and he actually answered himself with a new name agreeing with these radical nasty comments. I…

I think you can improve AOL by looking at your top suggestions on this list and stop gathering information and act to make improvements.
My idea is to give us the option to opt out of the news feed. I seem to remember there used to be a way to change the welcome screen to be more user appropriate. I would love to see this area changed to cooking, gardening, sports, or other hobby/interest related information.

Reporting the news
I would like for our news reporters to actually report the news honestly and straight forward. I don't need these uninformed nut cases (Naddow) telling me what to think. They are not supposed to be for one side or the other. Just report on the happenings of the day and I will decide who I believe is right. That is what I am going to do anyhow. We have caught the Media in SOOOOOOOO many lies that we now know they cannot be trusted!
