Your verification method does not work. !!!!
1/ You are asking for cell phone. I do not have a smart phone.
2/ You are sending code to my secondary (forwarded) e-mail address, while preventing me to log in into my primary address. I can't read it and send it to you, until you let me to log in.
3/ I reach to my e-mail from several computers at several physical addresses.
4/ Yes, my secondary (forwarded) e-mail address is valid.

Enough is enough. Fix your email, AOL, and stop marking everything "suspicious' and bouncing messages back. It used to work so well. And now it's just garbage. Or is that so we all move to yahoo? NOT EVER, by the way. I'll go to gmail first.

I have had the same thing happening to me, you would think a password would be enough to access your account, it's not like it's for national security. I have Facebook account, no problems getting onto that, a Youtube account, no problems, but yet these geniuses think that phone verification will work better than a password. Basically a password is useless and you don't need one, just use your phone number. And they need your email address, the same one you can't even access so they can send you some stupid message, extremely poor customer support.

I also am getting tired of the silly account verification. After all these years do I really need to drop AOL?????

They want your phone number to sell to marketeers. Another source of income

This is my 3rd time complaining about this! Apparently they don't care about the people using AOL. As a matter of fact, today I had to go thru this verification 3 yes 3 times? Do something about this ASAP! Or tell me what the activity is for the verification

I did complain about this a couple of weeks ago and all was well. The last 3 times I've signed on mail, I get this BS "we've noticed something suspicious and need you to verify this account" Why isn't a report sent to my email concerning this "suspicious activity?" Same computer and ISP for quite a few years.

I concur -- stop wasting my time with phone verification -- especially when you have a phone # that is not and never was a mobile # and I haven't had that number in 20 years.

Every time you send verification code via text and I enter it - It Is Kicked Back As INVALID! Get your Stuff Together or Fix It!
