  5. Make cancelling a subscription easier to do.

    Talked to Brian who said he was from Dominican Republic, could not get him to understand what the problem was so I finally gave up. It is sad for a computer company the size of AOL to hire employees who cannot speak or understand English.

  6. I have been user of AOL for over 15 years - the main thing is for email. This is quickly becoming the most difficult aspect of the plan.

This is quickly becoming the most difficult aspect of the plan when it was the reason I used this program in the first place. What benefits for paid subscription when you can't even get decent email (like the free programs). You need to re-evaluate your business objectives

  7. This is a complaint, I can't find any other way to contact AOL

    I had to reset my laptop and had to reinstall a lot of programs, including Outlook (for e-mail). I called tech support (which i pay for) and they set up a new password for one of my e-mail accounts. They said AOL was no longer helping set up Outlook for additional e-mail addresses.

  8. hire better customer help, current techs don't understand English, don't understand a deceased person can not pay a bill or respond to text

    my husband passed away 5 yrs ago, his account was supposed to be closed, yet when I gave info on a new bank card, it seems there was a problem with them charging it, they sent requests to my late husbands name. I am upset, 4 months past due, I was not contacted that there was a problem, and I have no idea why as my account was closed, so i opened under the special only to find all my account info was correct and there is a past due bill for 4 months... if you hire techs who understand…

    There is certainly no loss of examples of purposeful/unplanned/unknown irrational decisions in business and AOL is not exempt.
    It is certainly beyond me that there is not a simple, easily accessible path to find the available plans, singular and bundled, on you web site.
    Even your employees appear to be totally unaware of such a process.
    To also require the customer to be on a plan before being able to communicate or chat with someone to potentially find that information also does not make sense.

  12. McAfee subscription is not being renewed

    I've had McAfee through AOL since 1999, and all of a sudden I get a message that in order to use McAfee, I need to pay for a subscription. I am already paying for a subscription. McAfee says they can't find my account. AOL says my account is active. I am paying for something I can't use. I tried to cancel, there is no cancel button. I tried uninstalling. I still get pop ups saying my computer has issues but can't run a scan without paying. I've tried to fix this for one year.

  13. you need to accept a prepaid card for fee some do not own a credit card

    you need to accept prepaid cards, people are getting rid of the credit card do to high interest rate and would rather pay with a prepaid card so it is also safe and you do steal peoples credits cards.
