Why cant i see old emails. Why does my messages in new emails dissapear when you go to open them. This is rubbish

    I have gone back to the old mailbox as suggested by an earlier post
    Now I can read everything

    Trying to reply to your (AOL) email about the emails disappearing from my new email inbox,and can't.
    They Are Disappearing As Soon As I Click On Them.

    Disappears before can read it. I then have to search the email to find it as it doesn't go into my old emails

    Further to you requested more info on the current situation - no change:
    On my Android phone and Kindle Fire - it flashes up for a millisecond then disappears and is not saved or moved to any other file.
    My phone AOL inbox does not show the same emails as my Kindle Fire AOL inbox - both are fresh loads and page refresh.

    It disappears before I read it, it opens and closes immediately in split second so i can't read them.

    Clicked to open it and it disappeared.
    Also the old/read email emblem disappeared.
    I am now using the original.
    Which is the same as it was.
    However disappointed it has taken this long to get a reaction.
    Customer service is appalling

    The emails disappear as soon as l try to open them. I cannot open "old mail" either.

    Using android phone. In new email folder, upon selecting the new email to be read, it opens for approx half a second before it closes itself. You are then returned automatically to your 'new emails' folder and the email trying to be read has obviously moved to old emails. It then also does not allow you to open the old emails folder at all.

    The email flashes on and off the screen before I have a chance to read it.

    Hi I have aol set on the new version and the email disappears when I try to open it in my in box not allowing me to read it if I turn my aol account on to the old format I can see all emails and can open them and read them ok
    It looks like the new version of aol has the issue of not allowing me to read emails they just dissappear when you click on them to open

    Got the same problem with my mobile and Lenovo tablet. It happened about 2 weeks ago, before that I didn't have this problem.
    Strange, I don't see this problem with my laptop.

    Has there been a permanent correction to this fault.?? I am having the same issues which i corrected temporarily by switching off the old/new button

    I have also done as suggested and gone into settings and turn off old /new emails and they are now not disappearing. A short fix for now.

    Glad it is not just me. Email disappears in front of my eyes.

    Can't view new messages too. They keep disappearing
