Why cant i see old emails. Why does my messages in new emails dissapear when you go to open them. This is rubbish

    Here's the thing!

    To see New email, do this:
    Go to settings and switch the radio button from old to new style. You should then be able to see them.

    To see old email:
    Go to settings and switch the radio button from new to old. You should then be able to see all your old emails.

    Sh*t, isn't it?! 😡

    I have been having the disappearing email problem as well. Try to open a new mail and it appears for a split second then is gone for good. Is there a hacker involved in this? I’ve found that deleting the an email by sliding it from the right and clicking the bin icon it is transferred to the deleted mail section where it can be opened successfully!? Hopes this helps but a response from aol would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I am the same. All old emails disappeared a number of days ago. What is going on?

    I can’t read my emails. When I click on them they just disappear. I note that this has been raised a few times on this forum.

    Not only cannot read any emails, but when I try to find them in old emails, even THAT does nit open....only displays my new emails other than the ones I tried to read. THIS IS A SERIOUS CATASTROPHIC FAILURE AOL, and disappointed no fast response from you given many previous complaints!

    I am having the SAME PROBLEM NOW FOR A FEW DAYS WHILST TRAVELLING. Cannot read ANY emails!!!!

    I too am having this problem 😕
    Go to read new emails and they vanish before my eyes 😡
    Unable to open old email section 😡
    Yet junk works 😠

    Im having this too new ones dissapear into the old mail and old mail link only opens up new mail, strange as junk and drafts is fine? Tried on all devices too! Cant read my emails!!!!

    Mines the same I got a message because I'm clinically extremely vulnerable ,I'm unsure who from but I'll never know ,what shite service ,I may sue if anything happens because of the loss of a vital message

    I'm having the same on the mobile. Cannot read old emails, it just takes me back to new emails. When I try to open new emails, I get a glimpse of the email, and then it disappears before my eyes. This has been going on for days now. This us distressing me, as I am on an online course, where I depend on the email for information as well as to link me onto crowdcast and Microsoft teams, as well as a host of other reasons. So come on aol, as I write this there are 154 comments in front of me, and it would be good to see a response from you. By the way, I also tried the desktop site and was also experiencing difficulties with that.

    This is terrible I can't read my emails, click and they disappear, can't get old emails and I have things in there that I need. Please sort this soon

    I have the same problem, so I have been flagging them, and go into flagged items, and let’s you open it
    This problem is only happening on my iPhone, it’s ok on my laptop
    I thought it was a fault on my phone, hope this helps!

    I do not like the new style. Please go back to old style.
