How can we improve AOL Mail?

Why cant i see old emails. Why does my messages in new emails dissapear when you go to open them. This is rubbish

    Same here and I have sent a service request.Still with no answer.
    This is my main e-mail.Had it for 17 years.Disgusting customer service.

    All new email disappears and old emails how do I get them back

    Please can you fix the problem of seeing old emails. Plus fix being able to click on an email to open it. Yes i can search the email but when you dont know exactly what you need to search for its kind if annoying!

    Quick tip to view emails that disappear.
    Before trying to open it, make a mental note of the sender. Then open it and watch it vanish.
    Search for it using the search bar and you will then be able to open, read and reply as normal. Bit of a pain but works.

    If you go on a desk top you can find the old emails it just seems to be a problem with phones and tablets

    When I click on emails they just disappear!! Can’t access old emails either! Bloody rubbish! Please fix!

    In addition to my post on 27/9/21 - me having same problem

    Managed to get hold of someone from AOL on Twitter
    Was told to do this

    Can you switch to unified mailbox, by going to Settings then toggle off the New/Old inbox style button? This should fix the issue since all emails, new and old would be in Inbox.

    Does seem a bit confusing at first

    Can't read old emails, WHY???? Just brings up new emails,

    Workaround till this is fixed - Go to settings, switch off new/old style inbox.
    Needs fixing pronto. Why no AOL comms acknowledging this problem?

    I have this same problem! I found if you don't open the new email but just move it to another folder you are then able to open it.
