I have an iPhone 8 - I don’t have iOS17 and can’t access my email.

Hello, I have been a customer with AOL since your company took over the accounts for Verizon.net.

8-31-2026 - I just tried to access my email AOL account and a pop up stated I need to use iOS17 or higher.

I can only access my emails through my iPhone 8, which is only iOS16.7.16.

Please help. I am not able to access emails, anymore. Very frustrating!!

My financial institution, M & T Bank also did this where they went to the iOS17 and then they realized there were many valued clients with older iPhones where those clients were not able to access the M & T mobile app, thus the customer ratings for M & T Bank dropped dramatically.

Since then M & T Bank modified their app from iOS17 back to the iOS16 so those clients with the older iPhones can now access the M & T mobile app.

Please consider switching back to the iOS16.

I have no other way of checking my emails anymore. I have (2) email accounts with AOL.
