1. Regarding your games, specifically Texas Hold em:

   AOL Texas Hold 'em poker used to attract thousands of players. There was even a "club" that tracked statistics (("High Stakes Poker Players Club" -- HSPPC).

   However, once advertising was inserted into the game, player numbers plummeted. Where it was once common to see 2,000+ players in a single poker tournament, last night, in the final game of the day, there were 78 players.

   I'm not sure what you've done, but it appears you're trying to cram more advertising into the game; however, the result is that the "poker table" where players play has been reduced to matchbook size -- on laptops

   On my work 30" work screen, there's no difference. At home, on my laptop, I have to go to full screen and expand the screen size to 175% to clearly see the poker table.

   Although the chat box then fills about 1/3 of the screen, I can at least see the table.

   As a result of this magnification, I can't see any ad at all. Not the worst thing in the world, but other players were grousing about the new format, which got me thinking:

   I don't notice the ads, and I usually have an ad-blocker on anyways. When you're playing poker, your attention is focused on the table, not ads, so I had an idea: (i) lose the avatars. They do nothing for the game, and they take up too much screen room; (ii) drop ads from the screen. Nobody reads them. Instead (I know nothing is free, so ads matter to the continuance of the game), run ads when the game is waiting for tables to catch up -- perfect for the 60-90 seconds for tables to catch up. You've got a captive audience, so while the average players won't notice the ads, or blocks them, most players (I'm betting) will sit there and actually watch a 60 second ad while the system waits for players.

   For the breaks, (this would take some work), nobody will sit through 5 minutes of ads. It just won't happen; however, if the break featured something related to poker -- say, a short clip showing a famous player (e.g., Daniel Negreanu) talking about poker, or showing some short clip of a really great hand), players might actually sit through this. And of course, you would run a 60 second ad in the middle of that clip).

   I'm not sure how advertisers measure their ad investment (is it an actual click to an ad, or do you just need a "body count?"), but I'm betting players will sit through an ad in the middle of the game when there's a break (catch-up or an actual break).

   As it is now, you're driving this game in the wrong direction. AOL poker has one of the cleanest interfaces of all the poker games out there, and there's a group of hardcore players who have played this game for years - decades.

   As it is now, you're steadily losing players, and the latest iteration will drive away a lot more until this game fades away.

5. AOL sign on news screen improvement

   Nov. 18th AOL news stories on sign on screen, not one mention of the week long FOX patriot awards show in Hollywood Fla. It was an amazing show, veterans and 1st responders honored, veterans mortgages paid off, nothing political at all, it was all, it was all about the patriots. AOL decided this was NOT news worthy but the price of vacuums and gifts for dad was. 56 news stories and AOL fails to report on the patriot awards, if it was the Oscars, CMA or other award shows that are very political AOL would have 4 different stories about it. Shame on you AOL, maybe E. Musk needs to go after AOL next.

7. make the AOL game-Classic Solitaire card game wider or bigger

   the AOL games square is smaller than what it was before because it used to be bigger and then during when I'd be playing Classic Solitaire cards on AOL's games website well there'd be video ads inbetween while I'd be playing a card game of Classic Solitaire how come ya can't make the screen bigger or what's all going on with it.

    Your news feed often contains articles of interest and usefulness. However I tire of every other article (and not an exaggeration) showing a picture of Donald Trump with the latest thing he thinks we care about, or that someone thinks is newsworthy about him. Enough. This happened even before his announcement on 11/15/22. Stop giving him the "air", publicity, and attention he no longer deserves. It has gotten to the point I'm starting to ignore the news feed altogether. There is so much more going on in the world that deserves our attention.

    Big picture today (per EIA data for year 2021), actual Electricity produced from Solar & Wind & Hydro was only ~20% of a TOTAL of 4,115,541 Thousand Megawatthours produced. (Most) ~38% came from NatGas, another ~22% from Coal, and ~19% from Nuclear.

    As I see it going forward; if one were to actually consider setting a goal to drive Electricity from NatGas and Coal (~60% in 2021) "to ZERO" say by 2051, SEEMs silly to set a goal to replace all that with Solar & Wind (given how many acres of space it takes to produce just ONE Thousand Megawatthours/Year ).

    My sense is that the bulk of a "wiser replacement plan" should come from increasing Nuclear (streamline effective permitting, standardize plant designs, expedite Fusion Vs Fission).

    Bottom line, seems we somehow have to figure out how to have "healthy national conversations over time" and a widely supported/periodically updated long range plan.

    Allowing "non-transparent politics & corporate decisions" to incrementally drive back room decisions that get us what we end up with on this issue by say 2051 may or may not be what is at all wise or smart.

    Why some of your stories are published is a mystery and the non-news items are mind boggling. Why is it news that Sully isn't using Twitter? Who cares what famous people use Twitter or Meta, or are watching CNN?
