2. Comments section on all news stories keeps disappearing

   Sometimes, when I click thumbs up or thumbs down, the comments section disappears and there is no "Comments" to open under the story. The comments also sometimes disappear when I try to open more comments, when I try to view someone's commenting history, or when I try to reply to a comment. The only way to get the comments back when any of these things happen is to open aol news and select the article again. After doing that, eventually the comments section disappears again when I perform a normal action. This is happening on all articles. Someone who does the programming for the comments section really screwed something up.

   How could this possibly violate community standards:
   If our politicians really were serious about reducing inflation they would police the oil industry. Check the charts on price increases, the newest one is temperatures above 95 degrees hurts refineries? Every year prices go up in the summer because people go on vacations, every fall prices go up because winter is coming and people need to heat their homes. The list of oil industry excuses go's on and on and on!

   When is the email concern going to be fixed. Ever since you started this new email, it seems to have a hard time opening up, if it ever does. There are times where I have waited for over three minutes for it to open, and like I said, if it even does open. Either fix the new or go back to the old that worked just perfectly.

   Here is what Sarah Fortinsky wrote: "Authorities in Brazil were also searching for him in connection to a separate killing." The ACCEPTABLE, and proper way to express this thought is NOT to use the word "TO" with the word "connection". Those who use common sense, and have a decent grasp of how to combine words to convey an idea, will write: ".....in connection WITH....". "Connection TO" implies being joined together, as in "one wire is connected to another wire. Those, who don't bother to pay attention to their choice of words, will likely consider my criticism to be extremely petty. But, they're likely the same folks who use this stupid & grossly illiterate phrase: "These ones". That is pathetic use of our language. So, Sarah, go take several English grammar classes, then, maybe you'd be welcome back by readers of AOL articles. Thanks a million.

   However, you could do an "AOL Premium" as well. For the premium price, depending on the level people pay for, they could get certain perks.

   For the lowest monthly premium, they'd simply have the ads removed from the chat rooms. For the second tier they get the ads removed, plus a basic ability to make profile pages, nothing fancy, however.

   For the highest tier, they would get the ads removed, the ability to make much fancier pages, plus exclusive use of "gold rooms" where those who pay the highest tier would get access to both the regular chats and premium chats, plus fancier profiles and whatever other perks you would choose.

   In this way, you would ensure that people WOULD, in fact, pay for AOL and use the service again as an integrated system which people truly loved. You would be able to out-compete servers like Discord, and you would see people coming back to America On Line in droves.
