Add the GIF back to email!
Disappointing that AOL has removed the GIF option. If it is not returned soon, it may be the end of an era for us as AOL users, and by looking at other comments, the same for others.

AOL Mail has two Ad Banners
In the middle of the email and on the top there are Ad Banners and just appeared last week. This only shows on the Google Chrome Browser but not on Firefox

Take your Verizon etc ad out of the #6 spot on my email list in new emails. It's already always at the top. I HATE that it's there!
PLEASE take your ad out of my list of emails and keep it only at the top. It just started today. It's SO distracting!!! I hate that you have done this and do not want to look at my emails all day in upset. If you can't do anything about it, maybe it is time for me to move to gmail and quit paying AOL $ for nothing. I've been a member since 1998. Maybe that's long enough...

The first thing that you can do to improve AOL is reinstall stationary in the email. I now have to send emails from Google.
Add "Stationary" to the email. Without it, I will send my email through Google.

Yahoo comments is doing Digg v4 in 2026.
Yahoo comments has rolled out a new version that is unpopular with users myself included. This is exactly what happened with Digg before Reddit. Digg's v4 update became so unpopular with users it killed their dominance and now is an after thought. If AOL improves their comments format some you could swoop all those users. Most people click Yahoo news articles for the comments section, now that experience sucks. Make a better alternative your format is not that bad just some simple improvements and let the users express themself and you will be getting far more clicks everyday.

stop asking for a verification code all the time. It is annoying. I do not have a cell phone and have to get the code sent to a neighbors

Local News Section
A majority of the links to the local news links [in my area, Sun News Papers] require a subscription to view the articles. If I wanted to subscribe to multiple news local outlets I would have done so. Please stop providing links to articles most people will be unable to read.

Stop being a tired and dated plataform.
Stop offering "benefits" and start improving your platform. AOL is a joke in the email world....a tired and dated platform that other platforms (gmail) run circles around. The only reason I stay with AOL is because I have so many vendors "linked" to it---it would take months to transfer them all. Otherwise, I'd be 100% on gmail in a flash.

photos on webmail
the photos on webmail are missing I have thousands of photos before I seen them last month but now there are only 4 photos

It is really irritating to follow a story with a video included and you can't view the video as a video unless you sign up on another site.
I don't want to belong to instagram in order to view a video mentioned on aol. Please either don't place the luring video or get instagram to ok viewing it on aol. So irritating! If it was just an occasional thing I could probably ignore it but it occurs on almost ALL the be-cute animal videos.
