AOL help site gives wrong info for hack recovery
My Dad’s email account was hacked. Within an hour I had recovered the account and changed the password. The hacker had added his email as a reply address. I’ve followed the instructions on AOL’s website to remove this, but the ‘more settings’ link does not exist on Chrome for iPad or iPhone, nor in the aol app. I’ve had several people search unsuccessfully. I called aol but they won’t tell me how to get there unless I buy a tech support plan. I would at have called if you put proper info on the web!

Allow “basic mail” setting on iPad app.
We want to be able to completely turn off the message pane on the right side and turn off automatically opening the next email. Just a list of emails with the list of folders on the left. Basic mail.

UNIFIED INBOX
Under SETTINGS, there’s no INBOX STYLE under GENERAL. after updating this app 6.55.0, I can’t select UNIFIED inbox. I want the old version‼️

Spam is out of control!
I’m slowly moving all email to gmail. AOL spam is ridiculous! 100s per day directly into inbox, not counting the spam folder. This does NOT remotely happen in gmail. I’ve already deleted 2 AOL accounts as a result but the remaining ones will unfortunately take much longer. PLEASE PUT A BETTER SPAM FILTER IN THE APP!!!

Cannot accept accept an invitation from a google group on my ipad
I need to accept an invitation to join a large google group on my iPad. I get a 404=error. I have 30 other aol users that also can’t do this. Why. If you go to google.com on your iPad and type mail.aol.com and sign it you can join. Help

Please allow users to choose if they want the updated or old version. I don’t like the new one!!!
I have been using aol since 1997 because I like the format. I’ve tried gmail and went back to aol bc I like how it functions and is better visually for me. Yesterday my aol app froze and I deleted it and reinstalled it. Now according to the aol helpline, I’m “stuck” with this new version. Please allow users to go back to the old version if they request it! I hate this new version!!!

AOL can’t top ****. People and myself mention the fact that spam is coming through and AOL say they’ll fix it. IT’S GOTTEN WORSE!!! In 1 day I get 6 spam Mail.

Cannot open draft email
Never been a problem before app version 6.52.0, but after clicking ‘Undo’ upon sending an email so that the email gets saved under ‘Drafts’ for amendment, the app now will not allow the opening of said email. Deleting of it from Drafts appears to be possible, but opening the email and thus being able to send it is no longer an option. Please fix this??
