GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

Now when I open an email the text occupies about 1/3 of the screen and every line extends outside the viewing area, underneath the box for ads on the right. I get it that you need to display ads but if I can't read the email there is no point.

At least put back the way attachments were, at the top of emails sent. Now, they are buried at the bottom of emails sent. I can't tell you how many people have told me they did not know there was an attachment. Especially if there has been a lot of emails back and forth when the attachment is finally sent. Whoever thought it was a good idea to bury attachments at the bottom needs to be fired.

It seems this whole feedback thing is a sham. AOL, in its arrogance, believes people will just get used to the new system like they did the old one. Who cares if it's substandard (they would never admit to that, anyway)? Who cares what our customers think, right? I truly doubt these topics, and their comments, are being read. And the votes: irrelevant, as far as they're concerned. We are all tiny insignificant voices screaming at a sleeping giant, snoring in all its arrogant, unconcerned glory. Content in its ignorance.

AOL, its obvious that the public and I absolutely HATE this useless programme, judging by the 100% comments. If you cannot give us the option to use the old email software youve used for the last 30 years without issue.....i cannot do anything with this rubbish
i will have no choice but to move my main email to another provider. -

I hate it now. Cannot get to specific emails by alphabet or scrolling down in today's mail. I hate it

I absolutely hate what you've done to aol when I go to check my mail. I still cannot search mail in reverse alphabet order, now I try to scroll down the mail to find something earlier in the day and no, it will not. I can scroll down all I want on the folders, but not my mail.

It appears AOL is ignoring all customer complaints on here regarding the dysfunctional new email format -- -nothing has changed in 3+ months of feedback ------
Now it takes forever to send a simple file attachment -- for example a 3 page PDF document takes 5-6 minutes -

Why have you made it so difficult to send a BCC mail? Evaluate what you have done to a perfectly good mail system. Now it takes four unnecessary steps to send out a BCC mail to a family list. GREAT JOB aol, you blew it!!!

The new mailbox is not user friendly, I had to switch to the old version to find an email I sent. Could not find it in the new version and spent too much time looking and then switched back and it was in its correct spot. The way the emails line us is very confusing and accidentally sent a reply to the wrong person. Very embarrassing and annoying.

I detest the split screen of the standard version, what useful purpose does it provide. Please just leave me with the older display.
Thank you -

Please stop changing my email display from the previous classic version to the so called Standard version which I DO NOT LIKE

Yes! I agree. I just discovered that I had 3 weeks' worth of mail disappear. Customer service said I had to get a subscription to be able to have a Technician help me. I had tried using the Chat, which took me in a circle and didn't give any options. I also tried calling. Since it's AOL's problem, they need to have a way for all users to get a solution. I ended up getting the Basic Plan, and the Technician pushed a button and retrieved my e-mail. But, I felt like I was extorted. AOL needs to have a way for "free" users to resolve issues. The Chat was useless, telephone options were also useless until I spoke with Customer Service and paid for a plan.

The fact that when I move to the new mail folder it opens a random new mail is totally annoying. And the loss of the ability to pop out and float e-mails next to each other or any other window is probably ultimately make me cancel the paid subscription. I need to be able to have more than one e-mail open at a time and NOT take up the whole screen.
