You have made me search and find Mozilla Thunderbird to be able to sort by sender. The hidden benefit is that I don't see your ads nor you political opinions. Is this what you wanted? Then you got it. I only come here to see how periodically you make disappear tens of thousands of responses complaining about the email! Great job!
An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedIt is a wonder how you turned the tens of thousands comments rejecting the email to about 800. Did you happen to manage the last elections?
An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedAnd you still haven't changed the email scheme! And apparently won't. Not even include the minimal sorting by sender !!!! Well, you would be delighted to know that I only use AOL mail to post here, complain and see how unresponsive can a company be. The rest of the time I simply use Mozilla Thunderbird which has a logical, useful email handling structure. As an added side-effect, I don't see your ads nor your leftist political postings. Great!

An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedHere are 5 ideas to please your customers:
1) Go back to the original email format.
2) Go back to the original email format.
3) Go back to the original email format.
4) Go back to the original email format.Since AOL adopted the same brain-damaged email scheme as Yahoo and Google, I am using Mozilla Thunderbird and only come to AOL proper to keep complaining. I don't read your news or see your ads. Obviously AOL won't listen to their base.
Go back to the original email format. An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedYou gotta be kidding! 276 complaints? Last time I checked it was close to 19,000. !
An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedChange your response to feedback to "We don't care what you think, and will ram the new email it down your throat".
An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedLast time I checked there were like 18,000 complaints. Not bad considering that only 1 in many bothers to comment! Now there is only 200. Is this something like the last presidential elections?
I'm using Thunderbird to access my AOL email. This way I avoid the leftist news comments and even better, avoid your ads! I only get to AOL to complain, like now.
I don't know what the bean counters thought when they rammed down our throats the same horrible email scheme Yahoo and Gmail use. Typical corporate blindness. I would have left AOL the second you did, but 'm glad I found Thunderbird! An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedIt is NOT a slight change in presentation, it is NOT an ad placing position, it is NOT a font change, it is NOT a color scheme change, it is NOT that "senior" people don't adapt to change.
It IS that you have destroyed the most basic email managing abilities of AOL mail, the capacity to sort up or down using columns, the easiness of selecting similar messages, to search content, etc.
If your customer support has any idea about what to do, just look at the first issues with comments and you will see they are all about this and negative. If is was OK before, why persist to change it to a way so many people dislike. If I knew an easy way to notify my contacts about an email change, I would have already changed to something else, yahoo, Google, or whatever. -

An error occurred while saving the comment IGNACIO MARTINEZ commentedYou haven't done a thing to improve the email scheme. Not even the simplest addition of a sort by sender.
Since your scheme is worthless and it is **** to change your email, I have simply opted to use Mozilla Thunderbird to access my AOL mail. Benefits? I only come to AOL to see how completely you disregard your customer base.
1) You can sort by anything, up and down. You can select to save /delete set apart.
2) I don't have to read your news, your editorials o see your ads. Happy? I am.IGNACIO MARTINEZ supported this idea · -

1000 comments? What do you do with the thousands that complained before?
If nothing else, get back the ability to sort by sender. With hundreds of spam messages and for regular maintenance, it is CRITICAL.
