Give us a choice in a drop down on how many emails we want to delete at a time in multiples of 20
I would like to be able to choose how many emails I want to delete . I think we should have a choice starting with 20 and selecting in multiples of 20. (40, 60, 80, 100-all.). I get hundreds of emails a week and most is junk, but I still need to scroll through all to make sure I don't delete something important. Please give us a choice. It would be an easy fix on your end.

Some new ideas about Kontakte
Die Sortierung der Kontakte nach den Vornamen ist völlig ungebräuchlich. Es gibt kein Verzeichnis, das nach Vornamen sortiert ist. Man kann es umstellen auf Sortierung nach Familiennamen, aber es springt immer wieder bei Neustart zurück.
Auch die bunten Zeichen oder Wappen bei jedem Kontakt sind eine dumme Spielerei.
Es ist auch unsinnig, wenn ein Teil der Kontakte nicht angezeigt werden und extra aufgerufen werden müssen.

Would you PLEASE get rid of the "TRY AOL MAIL FOR FREE" banner. When it is up, you can't get to the mail page. You have to keep going back to the home page and try mail again, sometimes 3/4 times. I have had AOL mail since around 1995.

Stop the icons for Contacts, Calendar, Settings etc continually reverting to a horizontal display that obscures part of the mailbox.
I keep changing them to a vertical display and they keep changing back.

security needs are becoming tighter. Find that others are sending me encrypted msg. re: financial and health. But i cannot respond likewise

Go back old format. If I wasn't so old, I'd change server. It just works badly. Please go back to the old way. Why did you change something that worked!! to a nonworking thing?

Please widen the email reading/writing window
The right side-panel, wherein I find my contacts, etc. (instead of the old setup on the left side), takes up too much screen for reading email properly. I am a paying customer and you tell me if I get the FREE VERSION I can have a wider email screen.?...Really, truly? I pay, why would you offer this to a free version person and not the paying version person? Illogical. Unless that panel holds ads and you want me to be harrassed by ads. Hmmm. I've just spent about 30 minutes on the phone with Alex, who has been great! She tells me there is nothing that can be done!
When you "upgraded" the system last year, whenever I wanted to open an attachment to an email, that attachment had to be downloaded to my download files. BIG PROBLEM!! I now have HUNDREDS of files in my "Download" files I don't want, don't need, and can only delete ONE BY ONE. This is insane!!!! This change is a total DOWNGRADE and must be REVERSED as soon as possible!!!

I like the old format. It is easy to work with. Old format was friendly and easy to work with.

sort by sender
Sort by sender in New Mail is needed. It's available in folders, but not New Mail, which is where I like to filter things out. New Mail currently only allows to sort by date. I've had to create a new folder to put new mail into so I can sort it, but if I don't deal with it immediately it tends to get forgotten because it's not in the New Mail that I see each time I log in. Thank you!

valid emails went to spam folder!
ANGRY, FRUSTRATED, OUTRAGED.. for three weeks, a friend and I have been unable to send or receive each other's emails. They would be "sent" but would not arrive. We have been contacts since AOL began. We finally "found" all the missing emails in SPAM. Reason? According to AOL, we each "had marked this email as spam". WE DID NOT EVER MARK EACH OTHER'S EMAILS AS SPAM! This resulted in many important missed communications. WHY DID YOU DO THIS? We have pressed the field for NOT SPAM but the emails remain in SPAM. This is infuriating and unacceptable.

stop erasing additions to draft, mistaking as already sent
try adding to email draft, but system erases, notes already sent. NOT sent. Suspect system mistakes reference recent other emails to same destination, same topic. Need fix problem with AOL email system.

mail format
When sending and responding and then responding again, multiple times, on the screen a line down the left side appears. And then with multiple emails, another line and another line, etc appear. This takes up too much room on the left side of each email. Please either remove this feature, or make it an option in the settings.

Autocorrect spelling while typing (key words: WHILE TYPING)
I've sent several requests for restoration of autocorrect spelling while typing. It works fine in this feedback field. PLEASE restore it to the email composition. It's ridiculous to have lost it in your new and disruptive format. The idea of going to the bottom and selecting "Check spelling" is absurd. Autocorrect works - evident here. Please please please restore autocorrect while typing to the email composition. (During this typing, my spelling was autocorrected at least six times because I type fast.) Come on, techies. Fix it. Restore it.
