Receiving email with pictures that are not being displayed
I have received several emails where pictures contained in the email are not being displayed. AOL displays a black box instead. I’ve forwarded the email to my Outlook email account and the pictures display properly.

AOL Mail Problems - New
I have written many times that with the exception of offering a dark mode just how stupid the 2023 e-mail changes were. Now I can add even more documentation of how bad your AOL Mail system is and just how chicken the AOL support people are to helping long term customers fix issues. Here are the new issues:
The AOL Mail e-mail attached file "Preview" capability only works on occasions. And then even then will not provide a view of the actual attachment. My iPhone does a better job.

I cannot add a new contact from a received email address
I cannot add a new contact from a received email address. If I select the email address from a sender, say, johnxyz@gmail.com, the "Add to Contacts" option comes up. No matter how many times I select this, the contact does not get added. I've restarted the aol app, and tried to add several times. It is odd, because most of my contacts do get added. Random. I have less than 3000 contacts. Please help.

where is the revert to old email format.
i can't read the font it is like a .1 and I can't ffing see it. when i was able to revert, I can see this page fine. my email is unreadable. FIX THIS NOW. iT DOESN'T EVEN PRINT BIG. THE FONT SIZE CHANGE BUTTON DOES NOTHING.

Unwanted Repostings to New Mail
The new AOL Mail program tends to re-post old mail back into the New Mail window, even though those emails have already been moved to the Old Mail window. This frustrating re-posting prompts users to re-read Old Mails as they appear to be New Mails. Time consuming and bad.

Mail not sent (Test1, Test2 Test 3=are you totally incompetent?
On October 1, I tried to sent three emails to a friend. She did not received- Test1. Test2, Test 3 and I do not see them as sent in my AOL mail and she did not received them either, Is this harassment part 2 or you just incompetent?

Le choix de la langue française dans mes paramètres ne semble pas pris en compte pour la rédaction des e-mails aol.
Peut-être existe-t-il un réglage de paramètres supplémentaires que je ne connais pas ?

Email synch to other devices
I have to delete emails in several different places now. i used to be able to delete in one place which would delete it on all devices, but now I have to delete it every place I can view the emails. this has been a REAL PAIN!!!! I see you want to start charging me for premium services, but I can't get a reponse from you at all AOL, so why bother?

Stop blocking legit email
Aol blocks email from legitimate senders, NYTimes, Zillow, for example. Doesn't even go to spam. I've switched my email provider for more and more accounts.

You guys updated the other day and it deleted all my contacts!!! I have had AOL from the beginning, this is too much!!
Not an idea but a complaint. You did some type of update or something and it deleted all my contacts, saved email, etc. I logged yesterday and everything was gone. I am so angry and frustrated. I can't get that stuff back.

Signing in from an "unknown" device
I have one desktop computer and one land line telephone. When travelling and using, for example, a hotel computer there is no way to accomplish two-factor authorization. My only telephone is back home and if I set up an AOL recovery email I would have the same 2FA problem with the "unknown" device. What is the solution to this?
Hi there. Since you have a landline added to your 2 step verification, this can create difficulty in signing in from a different location. I recommend setting up 2 step verification with an authenticator app or add your mobile number if you have one.
