  1. where are all my old saved emails?

    Currently, if a user doesn't log in to their account for 12 months (i.e., if an account is unused or dormant for 12 months), it is deactivated. Once this happens, emails that were in the mailbox at the time of deactivation can no longer be recovered. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  4. Can't attach excel files

    Not able to attach a couple of excel files, was able to attach other excel files that had similar content and similar file sizes. The upload of the attachments gets stuck and after about a minute I get the " This email attachment can't be saved to drafts. " The information from within those 2 excels has to do with tax info. After troubleshooting it's most likely some content or info from within the 2 excels that is preventing the files from being attached on the system.

  6. Teams Invites - Android App FIX

    When I receive an invite from Teams or Zoom in the Android app, I can see the link to login to the meeting. However AOL removes the response options (ie Accept/Decline) and the Meeting details (Time/Date) from the invite.

    Other apps I use (Gmail/Outlook) work fine and show the details, even if I forward it, but the AOL app is useless.

    please please please fix this - its essential to allow use of AOL emails properly.

  7. Re: 2 Step Verification :-(

    I keep getting asked to use a 2 step verification-if a person (ME) doesn't have a cell phone there can be NO TEXTING or App abilities therefore not 2 step capable. Got any ideas?

  10. IMAGES DON'T SHOW

    I USED TO GET A DIALOG BOX THAT ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO SHOW IMAGES FROM SENDER'S EMAIL!!!

    I NO LONGER GET THAT DIALOG BOX!!!

    ALL I AM GETTING IS A BROKEN ICON IMAGE!!!

    Hi. You can turn off the preview page, by going to Settings and there you can select ''List'' from the ''Message layout'' category.

    Hello there. On the Search bar, please select the ''Advanced'' drop down to choose where to look for an email. You then have the ''Search in'' category, where you can select All mail, Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Trash, etc. 

  13. Choose name to display on recipient’s email

    When I sent an email in the past my email address was displayed. Now my husband’s name comes up, I assume because in the very distant past both email addresses were set up by him and they can’t see my email address. This is causing problems. Please go back to the old system

    Hi there. I would recommend going to Settings>More Settings>Viewing email. There you can select ''Sender display preference''. Hope this helps!

  15. NEW AOL SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!

    FROM AOL:

    "AOL Mail lets you switch to basic mail so you'll have access to your emails even if your system isn't running the latest operating system or browser. Be aware, switching to basic version WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE BACK TO OLDER VERSIONS of AOL Mail, THOSE ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE."

    THAT IS EXACTLY THE FVKKING PROBLEM!!! YOU TOOK A PERFECTLY GOOD WORKING SYSTEM AND REPLACED IT WITH A GARBAGE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!

  17. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DELETE AN INDIVIDUAL CONTACT FROM MY CONTACTS LIST

    How do I delete one or two contacts from my contacts list? I have gone to the contact's name and right clicked. Nothing happened. I left clicked and the only option is to send that person an email. How do I simply get them OFF my list?

    The notifications section takes almost 1/3 of my viewing area. It makes it harder to read my emails. Can the notification area be made smaller?

  20. Blocked email address at AOL Help site

    Dear AOL

    IT IS ALL ABOUT AOL EMAIL: DRCLEMENTAKATENG@AOL.COM, which you have unfairly and unjustly blocked

    Up to date I do not see why you have not resolved your block on my usage for Help on AOL This information in red still exists on my AOL help page which I have complained by phone and written to you about and you have done nothing to resolve the issue. Here is the information:

    Support for access issues is not available for the AOL username you entered. To report abuse, spam, or a compromised AOL account, please choose our abuse form.
