Desk Top Icon
Do not want Icon on DESK TOP SCREEN since I have it on the TASK BAR. But I am constantly having to put same in the TRASH BIN, because AOL puts it on the DESK TOP every time there is an UPDATE. I can see the need once AOL is installed, but after that is annoying.

Regarding sign on screen. Why don't you make the username box bigger making it easier to to log in . Above all the small arrow icon to change users. it's so small and light colored you need a magnifying glass to see it. I can't believe something that is used often is so small .Doesn't anybody that designed this ever tried to use it. You have to be a marksman to hit it with your mouse,every time I sign on it torques me that this was designed so stupid.

How do I stop what I think is IN THE KNOW by AOL-- a new, very annoying and impossible to stop series of unending videos.
Put some way to stop and preferably kill IN THE KNOW which is just below the main AOL rotating items. It has no "X" to stop and kill it. Even with sound off, the on going series of videos is very, very distracting. My quick fix was to drag up the bottom of the screen. My long term fix may be go kill AOL and go elsewhere

GRAY BAR APPEARS OVER CHAT BOX
WHEN I GO TO A CHAT ROOM IN THE CHAT COMMUNITY, THE CHAT BOX WHERE YOU TYPE IS COVERED WITH A GRAY BAR. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN UNLESS YOU MAXIMIZE THE CHAT WINDOW. THE MINUTE YOU MAXIMIZE, THE GRAY BAR APPEARS COVERING THE CHAT BOX WHERE YOU TYPE. CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THIS?

I have two suggestions, first suggestion is to provide a grammar check as you provided the spell check.
First suggestion is to provide a grammar check as you did with the spell check to help prevent writing errors. Secondly, to allow the customer service to take the information from the customer, and to pass it along to whoever they may transfer you to if they cannot provide assistance. Having the customer repeat all the data all over again is stressful when it can be relayed to whoever they are transferring you to, and to save time for the tech as well.

Return the option to close mail box
Return the option to close the mail box, I want close the mail box for another screen names is out of hand to control JUNK MAIL, I try any thing and is like I getting more and more. I unsubscribe were I never subscribe, I block junk mail, and they find the way to send more, they just change the electronic address.
This is my 4th time that I'm asking help for this matter on feedback and also by phone with technical support
Please do something, make more indulgent our stay in AOL

Terms Of Service seems to be selective in AOL Chatrooms
AOL reestablished the use of REPORT in their chatrooms...and this sometimes results in a chatroom member losing their screen name for repeated violations...HOWEVER, not all TOS violators wind up losing their screen names and are bullying and harrassing other chatroom members in this one particular chatroom -- ROMANCE 60s PLUS LOVE -- several of the regular members brag that they are "protected" and will nevah lose their screen names while some trying to be honest and forthright lose screen names right and left....ARE THERE PROTECTED MEMBERS IN THE CHATROOMS AND IF SO WHY IS THAT SO? DID NOT THINK AOL…

You obviously misunderstood, we didn't want your stationery, we want to be able to OUR OWN backgrounds like before. How difficult is that? You don't even understand what your customers want or need, yet you increase the rates? That's almost laughable. You're stealing from us. Why didn't you take notes of AOL 9.8.2 before you cut it off?
