Yellow banner telling us to upgrade windows 7
We have a yellow banner saying "Microsoft has ended support for this version of Windows." extra extra extra.
I majored in computer networking so I know that this is just microsoft talking to us, but why do we have to be constantly reminded to upgrade windows 7.
I have no plans to move to either windows 8, windows 10 or windows 11. I don't like any of them. No offense to anyone that does.
Before we got a popup telling us the same thing, now it's a yellow banner.
There should be an option to not display this banner so…

Improve aol desktop gold performance
I found a way to improve aol desktop gold performance if you have a mechical hard drive, like I do and are running windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, or 11.
Turn off superfetch. I could be wrong, but it seems like superfetch might be inferring with aol desktop gold although the software still writes to a database file and still has issues. -

TOOLBAR PROBLEM ADDRESS BAR HISTORY
WHY DID YOU ELIMINATE THE "HISTORY" UNDER THE " ADDRESS" BAR. IT WAS VERY HANDY TO USE
WE NEED IT BACK, ONLY SUGGESTION IS I WOULD HAVE IS ONLY HAVE IT FOR LAST 30 ITEMS, IN THE PAST IT WAS FOR 100 ITEMS. -

this is bs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! every single time there is an update on aol the settings on favorites changes, nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i cant save anything on my favorites. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK AND LEAVE IT ALONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AND CHANGE IT BACK NOW I CANT SAVE ANYTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Everyday when I log into AOL, I get to see a video of drag queens, sponsored by Yahoo. I'm sick of that. Get rid of it.
Give people a choice if they want to watch gay and transgender stories. It is an abnormal lifestyle and not everyone wants to see it. I pay 25.00 a month for AOL and I'm going to cancel if AOL doesn't stop pushing their gay agenda. You want to F a guy, do it....don't involve me in it.

I do not need to see how many emails I have shared with this person and I do not need to see what the subject of our last email was posted. I also do not need to see photos posted in this address list. I find this very intrusive and was done without my approval. Also just because I have the last name of some of my contacts does not mean we are related.

delete filtered mail rathe than move it to spam mail. forces me to look at look at them in spam mail in case something got in accidentally.
Delete filtered mail. Don't move it to spam mail, as I then have to look at it along with unfiltered mail. I told you to "trash" it. Do it!! Renter, Admin etc are TRASH.

browser home and email format
the new home screne is not as user friendly as the last version and it seems to be resembling microsoft edge and with that i have to ask myself why stay with aol if its going to be just like edge.....change it back

I go into help and get sent to a screen where i HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR IT!??? I have been trying to get the holidays removed from my calendar, I mean seriously HUEY LONG DAY??? Could do it before you guys IMPROVED it. Can't do it any more. Why do i pay you people? What do you do for me? This feedback screen is a perfect example. You don't read these things you ain't gonna answer me.

Improve your toolbar icons, they are below previous quality
Please update your icons, they are far below previous quality. Also many vehicle choices are gone, such as nice cars, Vans, Motorcycles, Planes, Trucks, etc.....The current ones are more geared for Kids in my opinion and mostly dumb. You had so many good ones in W-10 but need more of them for adults that have websites to save for professions and research.

Allow floating windows
The browser is trying to be more than it is by masking itself as a separate desktop. Don't do this, use modules and instances instead. Have a main browser and when you click an item have it open a new module for that app that can float and be moved wherever on the screen, do not constrain only to the browser window.
