Emails composed to "send later" change their format when sent.
The screen you compose an email in is a different size from the screen it is opened in. When send it, the message opens in a screen that is a different size. If you have composed a business email with indented paragraphs or outlines, long paragraphs, etc. the size difference in the two screens causes sentences to separate, and this leaves large gaps between words in the sentences. This looks very unprofessional. If you enlarge the screen, the gaps are even larger. Can you make the two screens the same size ( composing screen and opening screen) so there will…

Drop down list of last 100 sites is horrendously incomplete
Clicking on the down arrow to the right of the address box USED TO produce a drop down list of the last 100 sites you visited. In this shameful AOL Gold "upgrade", it no longer does that. For some inexplicable reason, you get a drop down list of some randomly chosen previously visited sites. If they are not the last 100 (and they definitely are not), how on earth does that help me? And like I've asked about all the other aspects of AOL Desktop Gold which are WORSE than 9.8.2 - why on earth would your engineers have changed…

When I send an email, where is the setting so that it stays open to change it and send to another person?
Keep emails that I am sending open after they are sent, so I can change it and send again to someone else.

icons on the aol desktop gold
I would prefer to have small icons on the toolbar. upon adjusting the screen resolution of computer to the smallest icon it can be, this is still big for me.

Improve the sign off feature!
It should be as it used to be...when ever we want to sign off, we merely click on 'sign off' on the top task bar. I am unable to do that with the Gold version. When I attempt to sign off using the traditional method, I get a pop up screen of an ad for AOL Gold with a 'sign on' button.

emails and alpha transfers
I don't like Gold either. Just making it work like the 9.8 AOL would be a great step. When in the address book, pressing a letter should take you to that letter''s area of the address list. When an email is selected in the email list, it will only stay selected for a few seconds. Right clicking on an entry in the list of emails will not select that email. this needs to be alpha again. this is not gold...this is tin...go back to 9.8...i am an attorney and this is incredibly time consuming i can't waste this much time…

"Status Screen"
What is the purpose of the "Status Screen" that pops up when action is taken on an email. This serves no purpose and we existed for 20 years I am aware of without it !
Just another irritation, requiring more mouse clicks, brought on with the unwanted, unnecessary "Gold" issue. Should be renamed LEAD -
AOL mail folders keep closing!
I opened up all of my files and folders manually. Exited AOL. When I go back in, ALL MY FILES AND FOLDERS ARE CLOSED AGAIN! This is annoying and needs to be fixed ASAP!

import address book and favorites
I cannot import my address book into gmail or my favorites into Internet Explorer. Some of us use additional email accounts other then just AOL for email. I guess AOL holds back on this to try and keep you from giving up the paid AOL ?

Bring back mail download decompress option.
Bring back the Mail Download option of decompress YES/NO. By automatically decompressing your loose the file name of the original compressed file. This prohibits business tracking of the original transmitted file in its zipped/compressed file name and format.

When saving an e mail into a folder, under prior versions, clicking the first letter for the desired folder took me to the location of the folder. Now, I have to do so manually. You should go back to the prior versions. It is simply easier to save or move files under the old versions of AOL.

Posting comments on AOL articles... Mouseover "like" count is now ridiculous!
AOL responds to the feedback I posted with telling me how the new hover feature works. If they would have read my comment, they would have realized, I understand its function but hate it.
Are you kidding me AOL? I told you about my experience. Did you even check out to see how annoying it is? Then you close the feedback so no one else can comment on it because you know 90+% of the feeback you are getting is entirely negative on the product. Pathetic!!!
One more bad tick mark for AOL! Lack of caring for customer experience.

Allow all AOL.com mail free users to use the beta software
As of January 24, 2017, you all have cut off letting free AOL mail users to beta test, use, and contribute to this beta program. I had all four of my screen names registered and set up to use this service and so did my mom. Mom and I have both been involved with your service in some form or another since we first signed up as paid dial up subscribers back in 1993. Remember that? Please put Reject back on the aol chat rooms made by aol coustomer
Chat rooms made by AOL customers use to have a Reject button so anyone they don't want in the room can be rejected.
