  1. Dump Gold! It does not work! If you want to charge us, do it with AOL 9.8, NOT GOLD. How could you have done this?!?!?!

    I had several "WAITING TO BE SENT" emails on 9.8, and your took them away without even a warning! They are very important! How can I retrieve them? ******@aol.com

  2. GOLD loaded a whole bunch of old emails, but none of my current! Why????

    I also hate AOL GOLD; it loaded a whole bunch of old emails, from I no not where, but none of my current. It also did not allow me to get to my emails saved on my computer and AOL. ALL, I say ALL my emails are gone; puff!

  3. Keyboard functions don't work

    Trying to go back and forth no longer works with the keyboard. ALT and the left and right keys don't work. Fix this!!

  6. FAVORITES BOX KEEPS RESIZING ITSELF

    When you want to move a "favorite" item to a new folder location in your "favorites" box, you click on the heart symbol and start dragging it to the new spot. However, the minute you click on the heart symbol, the favorite box resizes itself narrower, so you can no longer see the vertical left side of the box with the all hearts, and therefore you can't find the folder where you were moving the item to. It is as if someone at aol said, "Let's make things as difficult as we can for our users and waste their time…

  9. Charging for services

    AOL got into my bank account without my permission. I recently cancelled my credit card. I was paying for AOL service but don't want to anymore because of the Negative American enviroment they support and poor Gold program they developed. SO you went back thru my files and Kept my information to my Bank Account , then decided you would charge my account. That my idiot friend is called theft. You had no permission to enter my account let alone hold my financial information . Now what

    To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:
    1. Sign in to My Account: https://myaccount.aol.com/
    2. Click Manage My Subscriptions to access your account information.
    3. Click Cancel.
    4. Select a reason for canceling your service from the drop-down menu and then click CANCEL AOL.
    Note: If you change your mind and decide to keep your account active, click Keep My Plan.

    You will no longer be billed. Please come back whenever you like!

  14. Videos in your news stories do not play !

    When I try to see your news stories, 3 out of 4 times, I get a blank, black (or white) screen with no video, no text from the story and only hear the audio from the video. After r-loading page 3 or 4 times....sometimes it all shows up and plays OK. Not good.

  15. Favorites will not let you edit folder name & switches sizes when accessed.

    Problems with new gold version of favorites: 1. When you edit the name of a file in the favorites box there is no "save" button and if you return to the screen the title reverts to the original title. It will let you make and name a brand new folder but will not let you save and edit...or it is not made clear how to do it.2. When you click on the name of an item saved in a favorite file, the screen immediately enlarges so that you cannot see the left hand margin in the box with all the…

  16. In general, I am not happy with AOL Gold. I had asked to return to the former AOL but was told this is not possible.

    When sending e-mails, sometimes, when I enter the name of the addressee, nothing appears in the "To" box.

  17. Disaster search mail function

    Disaster. Search email function disabled although essential to my work in international law and finance, Restore as previously so that by entering name in search receive all emails to and from that person.

    I have wasted at least six hours as a result of your incomprehensible switch to yet another software system, Gold, which eliminates essential functions. This is a disgrace. I work as a lawyer by the hour and this is time wasted as a result of AOL incompetence and AOL's efforts to lock in its customers. AOL makes virtually impossible to transfer groups to another internet service provider.…

  19. Add user to Gold account

    As a long time AOL user, I've had a main user name, and six additional user names. At this time, I am also a AOL Premium subscriber at around $28 per month. I wish to delete one of my seven user names, and transfer my mother's AOL user name to my Gold Account so she can log on using the GOLD software. Please advise how I can do this?
