Many AOL users keep asking AOL to stop posting photos of abused or starving animals on the Welcome Screen, yet AOL continues to do so. There is no way to opt out of seeing these horrific photos, so you sign onto AOL and the first thing you see is a photo of an abused dog or other animal. I'm not sure any AOL administrator actually sees our requests on this because all we ever get is the robotic answer, "Thank you for your feedback." If any human AOL employee sees this, PLEASE do something about posting these horrific photos of tortured animals!

It is very frustrating that you can customize the sound for Welcome, You've Got Mail, and Goodbye but not for More Mail. In previous versions of AOL, I would assign the "You've Got Mail" sound to the "More Mail" command via Control Panel/Sound in Windows because you could barely hear the little CLICK sound it makes when you receive mail while logged into AOL. The AOL sounds no longer appear here and cannot be altered. So now we are stuck with the inaudible default click. Since these AOL software sounds no longer appear in Windows, would you please allow this sound to be changed within the software via Edit/General Settings/Personalization? It would be extremely helpful when I am expecting important mail since this notification method is much more audible. Thank you for your consideration.

Here are some suggestions:

1: Some of the icons are distorted and fuzzy. Please fix visual appearance.

2. It would be nice to be able to customize the ENTIRE toolbar. Some icons I haven't even touched, such as Explore or Finance.

3. The SEARCH button on the toolbar is out of place compared to the other buttons... it's dark. In previous beta tests (YEARS ago) it used to be either a yellow or gold color with dark text.

4. Can we please get some updates on some of the icons? For example, the EXPLORE icon needs to look like binoculars, or maybe a magnifying glass.

I hope this doesn't sound picky. Those that know me from beta testing for years, know that I am all about general appearance and looks. It would just be nice to make the toolbar more appealing. :)

I attempted to copy everything I have in AOL 9.8.0 on my Windows 7 desktop to AOL Gold on my new Windows 10 computer. Everything moved without any problem
except "Mail waiting to be sent." I am told by your tech department that it is not possible. That is hard to accept! My wife has years of writings in "Mail waiting to be sent" that are now useless unless I keep the old computer. I believe AOL should write the code to facilitate this move for its long time customers. This is extremely frustrating for our business, especially since we have been with AOL for many years.

Bring back the old way of saving mail folders in your Personal Filing Cabinet like it has been since the beginning of AOL - yes I have been a paying member since the day it started and with Gold can no longer save the individual folders in the Mail to another location like a DVD or memory stick. These folders get way too big and non-manageable over time
If you right click on a saved mail folder now in Gold it says :"Save Folder As" - like it always has - but when you click on it nothing happens.
This needs to be changed back to the way it has always worked.
