How do I add words to local GOLD dictionary?
The old Desktop has a way of adding my own unique 'word'..
I.E. Names of people, etc...1 - They obviously weren't copied from the old AOL desktop, and there doesn't seem to be a way to add them to GOLD

Enable "Show UNREAD" emails in Spam
You show the COUNT of UNREAD SPAM emails, why not ability to SHOW them too?
If Thunderbird can do it, why can't AOL?I let many 'newsletters' go to spam, keeps the inbox for those real people I converse with.

emails and alpha transfers
I don't like Gold either. Just making it work like the 9.8 AOL would be a great step. When in the address book, pressing a letter should take you to that letter''s area of the address list. When an email is selected in the email list, it will only stay selected for a few seconds. Right clicking on an entry in the list of emails will not select that email. this needs to be alpha again. this is not gold...this is tin...go back to 9.8...i am an attorney and this is incredibly time consuming i can't waste this much time…

You're supposed to IMPROVE AOL when you charge customers to use it!
When I'm filling in the subject line when writing an email, it only allows me to type in two letters then it automatically moves down to the body of the email and continues typing the subject line there! The old AOL wasn't nearly as bad as this GOLD version.

E-mail list is too hard to read compared to old versions
Decrease the spacing between e-mails to allow more on the page. Even with small FONT this is not easy to read. Allow us to pick FONT size beyond small medium large. Alternatively just use the previous format which was fine.

Only the address used to go in. Now their name and address goes in.
I think it is only in the top row. used to be only the address went into the address place, now your name and address both go in. Also I change the font for mail and it goes back to the one it was in the next e mail. Then again, the find used to find a search word in the webpage you were looking at .... not any more.

I don't think it's right that Gold polices what is said between two people in a private chat. You're acting like Nazi's.

Dropdown box
Put the dropdown box back in email "Settings", "General" tab to allow me to set how to sort my mail display. I prefer old on top, new at bottom. The same as I read books front page to last page.

Need back the different colors for each screen name
Prior to the "Gold", I was able to set a different color for the desktop of each user name. This was an easy way to know which user name I am on at any given time. I need to be able to send out emails to people from the correct user name, which I use some for personal and some for various businesses. Without this ability to have a color for each one, I need to keep clicking on the Welcome screen to see which user name I am on! This is ridiculous. I used to be able to go…

browser window tabs dont allow multi tasking
make the tab window of the browser that you have open stay open. now if u have multiple browser tabs open and one is in the process of loading info, it keeps popping to the top, bumping you our of the window you are currently working in, not allowing you to continue working in another tab.

Rotten Drop Down list
Drop down feature is terrible!! I used to be able to see what pages I had been using during browsing and could return to one if I wanted. NO MORE!! When I try to return to the last page of browsing, it isn’t there. Instead, the name of a category, usually AOL search, is there. I want to find an article that I looked at during my browsing, but if I use the arrow to find the page, I am sent back to "AOL search". The old version of AOL would have shown the page as though I had saved…
