This was in the old AOL Desktop v9 and earlier.
You've been "Gathering Feedback" ever since GOLD.. FIX IT!Currently, attempting to replace an existing hyperlink with blanks WILL NOT WORK.. This leads to having to delete and retype the entire hyperlinked words and phrases

When text has a 'hidden' URL underlying it, and I wish to remove it from the copied reply, I can't. The old 9.2 option to "Remove Hyperlink" is missing from Gold.
The Insert Hyperlink is there, but the Remove is missing. Using "Insert" to 'remove' any existing URL gives an error message about inserting a missing 'http://www.'; ?!?!? and no option other than Cancel or OK, no 'NO'
I believe the old 9.2 would NOT present the "Remove Hyperlink" option WHEN THERE WAS NO HYPERLINK in the pointed to text
I originally requested this back in February (it is now July)

Please please please remove the highlighting and little x's in the email address line, it is nothing but trouble! Same with inserting links inside an email, no highliging please! It makes it impossible to make a change in addresses, VERY awkward.

Now, when you mouse over a highlighted and other-colored word, which could be a possible HYPERLINKED word, the drop down does NOT show Remove Hyperlink. It DOES HAVE - ADD HYPERLINK - this is the opposite of how AOL use to work.
The new Gold way makes it appear that there is NO Hyperlink, and one can be added. This change confuses the use of hidden Hyperlinks.
