emails and alpha transfers
I don't like Gold either. Just making it work like the 9.8 AOL would be a great step. When in the address book, pressing a letter should take you to that letter''s area of the address list. When an email is selected in the email list, it will only stay selected for a few seconds. Right clicking on an entry in the list of emails will not select that email. this needs to be alpha again. this is not gold...this is tin...go back to 9.8...i am an attorney and this is incredibly time consuming i can't waste this much time because sometimes i have to scroll thru 100 alphas

Joe, you are sooo right. AOL GOLD is trash. Apparently when Oath (a subsidiary of Verizon) bought AOL it did not include rights to the AOL 9.8 program, so they have cobbled together something sort of close, but sucks major wind. I mean, who but a colossal idiot would charge for this piece of ****. They are just humping it along, and din't have the first clue what they are doing. And, yet have the temerity to charge for this piece of ****. I will eventually dump this piece of **** which I now consider a virus which locks up my computer occasionally.
