AOL desktop Gold is working so slow. Hoping that this will fix soon. Thank you
Please fix this

To resolve the slowness and performance issues, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:
1. Clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how you clear the Footprints: a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.
2. Restart the computer. This helps clear the internal memory (RAM), which often resolves many issues. This article provides the steps to restart the PC: https://help.aol.com/articles/restart-the-computer
3. Enable only the essential startup programs. Multiple programs may have been set to start automatically when a computer is turned on. These programs may cause the computer to slow down, and affect other running applications. For help with this, please refer to the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/enable-only-essential-startup-programs

I am troubled with AOL, 3-5 second delay when I type! It happens with NO other software. Why pay for GOLD when it doesn't work! Difficult to get a larger font, aside from getting the curser at all

It takes 11 minutes for AOL Gold to load; and another 4 minutes of "Not Responding." This is completely unacceptable. AOL is happy to take my $, but never fixes their problems. D-

When I go to add a link into an email, there is a delay and then the circle starts spinning. I have waited as long as 30 minutes and it's still spinning. If I click anywhere in the aol software, the screen goes white and freezes. I have to come out as a hard out by clicking on the X and choosing stop now. Then I go back in and try again and it still freezes. Some days it works. Some times in a day it works. I have better luck if I add the links first before typing anything but it can still freeze that way too.

I had to pay for AOL service to have them fix weekly what should function on its own! Common Man!

AOL has no desire to fix anything they are seeing themselves as a player in social media censorship and dont care about the users at all! Its now been more then aa month and comments are not fixed but censorship is in over drive

I pay for Gold Nd it takes 8 minutes for it to load (and several more minutes to be fully operational). This is ABSURD. Chrome takes 30 seconds to load. Give me what I"m paying for. I've complained about this many times, but nothing is done to alleviate the problem.

If I read an article on the aol welcome screen, the software can either be really slow to respond or freeze at times.
This needs to be fixed.

why is AOL so slow. It takes for ever to write an e-mail or read my e-mails. If you don't improve , I will cancel.

The reason for ANY fouls ups with Gold is in one word GOLD.
It has been a pain ********** ever since it was launched.
It must be the pride and joy of some Verizon suit ! There is no other explanation to why it exists in its moronic state.
Anyone notice the irritating drop down menu when sending an email ? I KNOW WHO IT"S TO !! I WROTE THE EMAIL !!! -

What seems to be the problem with AOL and its slowness? I can click on a topic and get nothing but a blank screen. It's been going on for at least 2-3 days. Reason?

AOL is getting slower and slower BUT still wants me to continue to pay for it...WHY? After 30 years as a paying customer are we getting such poor service?

AOL GOLD is sooo sluggish to open and sign on, that while waiting I can quickly open and sign on to FIREFOX and open the FREE AOL email program with Photo SLIDESHOW review feature, all while waiting for AOL GOLD to come up and connect. Many times AOL GOLD just crashes altogether. Pretty sad state of affairs and business. By the way, this is done on the exact same PC with the same connection speed. Why can't AOL get it together? Ever get the feeling they don't give a ****?
