STOP CENSORING COMMENTS BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE THEM. i have now been blocked from leaving any comments. I am a paying customer, and yet I am not allowed to comment on any news item. I am all for blocking offensive comments. But my comments are NOT offensive. My name has been flagged, and I am automatically blocked no matter what comment I leave.

At c. 9;50 am in the conversation section of news article"Riot declared in Portland protests after police kill man" A post I made, which is the exact post I've used before under different articles, was immediately rejected saying "Unfortunately, you are unable to take part in this conversation right now as your comments have been blocked too many times." This has been happening for days after I reported a problem and worked with Tech Support in an attempt to get another problem resolved CASE #16087280.After 22 years on AOL and 6 years commenting in the "conversation section" of news articles I have 56.7K points under the nickname "quid pro quo" and had another 22.7K points under another nickname before going back to quid pro quo when it got another problem fixed. I want to know WHY I've been blocked and WHO do I have to talk to in order to get this total BAN fixed?Under WHY it says:User accounts will/might be blocked if we notice:Continuous attempts to re-post comments that have been previously moderated/rejectedRacist, sexist, or homophobic commentsAttempts or tactics that put the site security at risk.NONE of those apply to me. In fact I do more fact checking in these conversations than anyone else using credible fact checkers like FactCheck, PolitiFact, Fact Checker et.al.

AOL has decided that they will now jump on the Twitter bandwagon and censor anyone that posts contrary to their political views. They won't tell you why...they won't give any reason....but they want to keep charging you every month though...that they won't censor!

Someone please explain to me why so many of my comments are being censored along with the threat that if I make more comments that are censored I will no longer be allowed to comment? I HAVE NOT violated AOL guidelines at any time and I'm ready to get my attorney involved in this fiasco. Enough already!

This is what I posted, but it didn't go through immediately and I don't know if it ever did go through because I am SO SICK OF THIS baloney as there is nothing in the post that violates AOL guidlines. I just don't want to waste my time on stuff like this. Here's what I posted: "They not only overcharge, but often charge for procedures that were never done or even might have been done even though they would have made no sense to perform in the first place. My mother was hospitalized at the age of 68 for treatment of her uncontrolled diabetes and was charged for a pregnancy test. I was hospitalized two years ago for a flare-up of my emphysema and was charged for a pregnancy test (I was age 77 at the time), a spinal tap, and a back brace. Last December I underwent a right hip replacement, and was charged for an appendectomy (which had been done when I was 25) and treatment of a fractured right shoulder. However, let's be fair regarding your friend's case. After all, those bullets might have exploded spontaneously while the vests were just lying there so they had to be removed and disposed of for the safety of all concerned. Yeah, right - the bullets exploding spontaneously was about as possible an event as pigs flying through a frozen hell while knitting sweaters out of sows' ears, videotaping the entire journey, and posting it on YouTube. I hope your friend didn't pay for removal of the bullets from the vest."

Why am I unable to post on the AOL newsfeed articles?
Am I banned for life? -
Connie Marczak commented
I would like an email sent to me to say why I have been banned. I do not attack other posters, cuss or post links and photos. If I don't hear from someone, I am closing out my paying membership to AOL! I want to know how long I am banned and why.

You are using an outside vendor known as Openweb for the comment/conversation sections of your pages and this company is using draconian and unfair practices to block free speech and expression by basing blocking tactics on posting volume and regular participation and not on actual post content.I am a victim of this.I can no longer post anything without it requiring approval no matter what it may be,this includes the words "test","hi" and "hello" even though I generally only participate on the site one of two hours any given day and am by far a lesser offender than many others who are still allowed to participate.I have talked to your tech support for Desktop Gold, which I also have, and have left feedback, this will continue on a regular basis until something is done to restore fairness to my situation. If nothing else people being paid by AOL will regularly have to hear this story. The last person I spoke to agreed that this was an egregious situation.

CENSORSHIP of comments left on AOL articles. All comments I have left are flagged by AOL moderators,(NOT OTHER USERS) with this message: "Your comment was rejected as it apparently was not aligned with our Community Guidelines." And because of the rejections, I am now blocked from making any comments, and all of my old comments have been deleted.
