You can't say "CHIT" with an "S", but you can access all the **** you could ever want. Go figure THAT out. & they insist on removing my posts because they seem to disagree with my opinion.
Images and some comments will be flagged in our system prior to becoming public.
Here are some reasons why your comments may be flagged:
- Language (Examples may include: all caps, inappropriate words, etc.)

publish all information on Community guidelines, criteria, profiling of conversation platform users for automatic reviews on anything posted. All key words the censor reviewers use to reject a post. define and be specific for all reasons that you use to ambiguously reject a post. Your rejections are clearly not uniform and favor one viewpoint over another.

Here's what I posted, AOL has put it under review, and apparently freedom of speech is no longer a part of our Constitution, at least as far as AOL is concerned.
"Enough already with the new censorship that seems to have reared its ugly head the past three or so years. Looney Tunes are iconic - leave them alone! If you don't like them then DON'T WATCH THEM! Simple, isn't it?"
Why did that need to be censored?!?!?!?!?! -

WHY???? are my comments on news stories FLAGGED and taken down in 30 seconds or less? I can't even say Good Morning and my comment is deemed inappropriate and if I comment again the message pops up I can't comment anymore because I've been flagged too many times already!

Goodbye freedom of speech. I wasn't allowed to comment because my comments have been blocked too many times. There is no reason to have blocked any of my comments in the first place as I always adhere to AOL guidelines, but I guess we no longer live in the USA. I might have missed it but apparently we are a now a territory belonging to Russia where censorship is common.

I posted that some people are too young to remember white fashion influencers or haven't made the connection. What about that should have been censored? Please explain! Enough is enough already. I'm beginning to think we're not in the USA any more because AMERICA On Line is censoring things just like they did in Germany under Hitler and now most likely in Russia under Putin.

AOL posts an article on their site, certain things are stated in the article BUT when I state "EXACTLY" the same thing in a comment . . . YOU CENSOR ME ? ? ? If you can't handle the comments professionally then close them for good. Then the rest of us will leave AOL.

This is getting out of hand. Originally you let people post just about anything including very offensive. Then you tried to moderate a bit and remove the really bad stuff....that was GOOD, but in the past month, you have gone so overboard in the other direction that you remove posts that are in no way offensive. Your censoring is way over done. Today you would not let me post an image of a quote by a famous president because you want to eliminate pictures in posts. You need just to end comments on news articles and be done with it. Stick to the news, just the news and nothing but the news. Let Facebook and Twitter get these nuts that post such hateful stuff. The rest of us can manage just fine without the comments.

I have been informed that AOL won't allow me to post comments because they're censoring them, I've had some of them rejected because I supposedly didn't follow the guidelines (although I checked more than once and I most definitely have followed the guidelines!) and/or I've posted too many comments. I thought we lived in the United States of America, where freedom of speech is part and parcel of our Constitution, but it seems I was mistaken.

Here's my post - please explain how it didn't adhere to your guidelines as I joined a discussion about Amazon that was already in place. I posted: "Well, in my opinion, Amazon was way ahead of other businesses. Thanks to the coronavirus, many businesses - big and small - are now encouraging people to sit at home on their duffs and use the internet to patronize them. Times change and that's where we're at now and we may be here for a long time to come - if not forever. Furthermore, Amazon has the largest variety of items than any other website and, so far, I've seen their prices equal to or less than in stores or on other websites. Also, some of us out here are physically challenged and/or can't drive, so Amazon is a boon to us because we don't have to rely on anyone else to take us shopping. Then there's Amazon Prime membership; google it and learn how advantageous that membership is."

I have been a PAYING customer of AOL for many years and I'm sick of my comments being deleted when they are NOT against any guidelines. The moderators need to stop deleting comments just because they don't fit their agenda. I plan to follow this up with a phone call.

Why does AOL think that they have the right to delete my posts just because I say "Read the Charging Document for the arrest of the officer, before you sound stupid"? I had no bad language (heaven forbid if the children reviewing my posts were to read) and all were on point. Give me some feedback and just because I'm a COP and Conv...I've been with AOL since I first got internet but now I'm jonseing to go ANYwhere else.

You are charging me $5.99 per month and yet, no matter what I post, even if it's a nice post, you delete it? give me a reason why I should not switch to my GMail account and stop you from taking my money?

All my comments (on any comment in the story comment section) are/have been rejected due to foolish aol guidelines. Why is this? If I make a comment even like "You are 100% correct" it will be rejected/deleted after 1 minute. I have talked to CS multiple times and they cannot fix this issue. This is case reference #11990880.
Please repair/fix/solve. I know "Aol can't stand the truth". -

Conversation Moderators:
This new monitor program in the "conversation" section of news articles is getting out of hand.
I posted this in reply to someone who touted their degree from Columbia while disputing Pres. Obama's degree from there. In a second attempt to post, I said "Try again. You really think Obama got into Harvard Law without a degree from Columbia? He graduated Magna *** Laude(Latin for with great honors)* and was the first junior to ever become Editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review.
I assume you're familiar with "Mailman" between Haven Ave and Riverside Dr/ 168th St NY, NY 10032 I know the area well."
Specifically how can that be in vioation of the guidelines?
* Here also they deleted the Latin word for with. -

Every post is now delayed for an inordinate amount of time before being published and I don't understand why. I follow the AOL rules and guidelines 100% and I'm getting really sick and tired of this over-censorship.
