Why have my comments been blocked when I try to post a comment on a news story or article? This has been going on for two weeks. I would really appreciate an answer. Is there someone I can talk with to resolve this problem? Will my commenting privileges be restored at some future date?
Thank you in advance for your reply. -

Missing comments, can't see comments, deleted comments. AOL deletes comments that have words that were in the article. You are becoming pathetic and more people will be leaving your service . . .

I have been with AOL for many years. Probably 15-20 yrs. I have posted my conservative ideas as comments to your posted stories shown when I sign in. Since your censors don't like my comments they have banned me from posting comments & seeing replies from others. What does AOL have against free speech? Please let me know if you want me to remain a member. If you do reinstate my ability to freely post comments.

Verizon bought AOL, Yahoo and merged them into Oath who is now being renamed "Verizon Media." I posted a comment on an AOL comment thread about a Yahoo writer named David Knowles taking Trumps words out of context to spin it as far differently than what Trump actually said. Then I was responding to a reply to my comment and saw my comment suddenly deleted. Apparently that wasn't sufficient punishment for the AOL moderator. This moderator than deleted ALL my comments made since they implemented the current comment format more than 2 years ago. Then the moderator has made it where it appears my new comments post but if I reload the article and return to the particular comment that I had replied to, I find my comment didn't actually post.
The censorship of conservatives on their comment threads is disgraceful. Especially if you read what they say at the Verizon, Oath and AOL websites concerning "customers first," saying they're "always fair" and even claiming to care about "human rights" and "free expression." I spent 30 minutes on the phone with AOL help personnel and all they could recommend was that I post on their "feedback" site and they told me I should get a response from AOL. After a few hours I went back to the "feedback" site and it seems their solution to my issue was to just delete my post their. That's pathetic. I have been a paying customer AOL for more than 20 years and a Verizon customer for more than 15 years. It's a shame that there is no recourse for paying customers when AOL moderators unfairly and abusively use their powers to completely delete someone for daring to point out that a Yahoo writer wrote a misleading article about Trump.

Why are posts in the conversation section of articles being removed even though they do not violate TOS or posting guidelines?I have just gone through a wave of being targeted no matter what I wrote with removals, one after another and so on even though there was no violation. Please do not reply with a paste or link to TOS or guidelines as I have violated neither of those.
Your censors seem to think by removing all posts they can control any specific user they please.I have serious doubts this was the intention of the censoring process. The amount of hate and intolerance,of threats and attacks allowed should be the focus of removals.

You need adult monitors. Every time I post some info to correct the brats Trumpted up lies, then it is deleted.
You need some adults monitors on the forums. Every time I post some info to correct the brats Trumped up BS, then it is deleted. I even post where they can find the actual facts.........and your monitor deletes it. What is the deal? AOL wants to keep ignorant of where they can find the actual facts! I'm fed up of the imbeciles that like Trump, who is in seriously need of mental help. Get with it........clean up your brats on these forums. They seem to think their comments are funny! -

I read a lot of news reports on AOL and sometimes I post a comment after the report. Several times, my comments were deleted by AOL. For the record, I do not use foul language in my comments NOR do I attack anyone personally in my comments despite the fact that sometimes other commentators attack me personally. This is quite upsetting because I stick to the topic at hand and do not resort to a personal attack. If AOL continues to delete my comments I will have no recourse but to cancel my Desktop Gold membership and leave AOL. Please respond.

Dear AOL, why do all of my replies to anyone on the first page get deleted? None of them are against the TOS and seems very random. Are we not allowed to "cut in"? If not, take away the reply button and leave us alone. The comment section is in bad shape as it is. Too many times it still defaults to "guest", I hate that.

I am unable to post comments. I just spent four hours with three different technicians to get to the point that the only thing they could do is leave feedback here. as a 20 plus year paid user to AOL, I am not happy. I want to be able to post. Others can post on my machine, so it is not a computer issue. If I have been banned, I need to know so I can cancel my account and be done with your lack of ability to fix this. All I wan is to be able to post the occasional comments and have them not disappear. I can apparently give thumbs up or down, but my comments immediately disappear. This needs to be fixed and you need to communicate the fix to me, and not provide a list of tips to fix it. That is not helpful and basically is insulting. I expect a quick response and proper feedback until this is fixed or I am told it cannot be.

Why is the word "tramp" now banned in AOL chatrooms?
