Your ads during a news reading is terrible. You have too many numbers of ads popping up. Why do we pay you a fee each month

NUMEROUS MOVING ADS SURROUNDING THE INTERESTING ARTICLES. GIVING UP TRYING TO READ THEM. TODAY ONE AD WAS REPEATED MAYBE 12 TIMES ON EVERY INCH OF THE SCREEN, MOVING CONSTANTLY. AGONIZING, TORTURE, INSANE!

I absolutely can not stand the articles going to next page and next page. Those are so frustrating that I do not read them now. I am sure it is about getting ad money, but I go elsewhere to read news now. Please stop this.

GET RID OF NEXT BAR it is not a good idea and I never finish a story. I hope you advertisers realize how annoying it is for the readers

free AOL--keep ads as they are.
For those of us who PAY FOR AOL--increase the fee by $1-$2 a month, and display NO ADS! -

I wrote some long time ago in regards to more interesting topics. You now have usually 81 articles. Many duplicates or Old News topics that keep showing up. In some cases, I don't mind it. What really gets the desire to read the article or not is if it gets to the point sooner then later. Problem is: Of these 81 Stories, some boring, some not, they all have one or several things in common. First you have to keep clicking on next page constantly to read the next paragraph. It is time consuming and frustrating to say the least. It takes away from the joy of reading the article in the first place. Then, instead of getting to the point and subject of what the article is supposed to be about, it Rambles on and on, about something entirely different, and usually states, (We'll get back to that later ( the Subject of the Article), stating : but first we have to give you an hour of history on it. (my words) but it seems like an hour of on and on about the subject matter Title and THE Results and Conclusion of the story before you LOOSE interest and don't care any more, and Click Out of the article time and again because of this.
SUGGESTION: Make the Story Article's interesting to the point, Brief and not Ongoing over and over and Keep them On Focus On track and don't Detour always from the Main Subject that caught one's Attention to want to read the article. It is a Huge Turn Off, when the Article is nothing to do with the Title and then it rambles on and on about something other things not totally related or not answering the curiosity of the reader, BUT (KILLING IT) FOR THE READER. Then reading doesn't want to Continually having to Click next to read another small paragraph. The Reader wants to read it all at once and what it is about quickly and doesn't have all day. So, to remedy these Problems, and address them as I suggested with a new idea, would work better for All Readers. I bet others feel the same, but just haven't said so, I finally said so, for me and those who have not. Please make it fun and interesting to read your articles Fast and Easy and To the Point already. Writers of Articles are getting Unfocused and going beyond what they think they have to. Quick to the point interesting articles is the way to go and Stay on Subject do not Detour often or at all, and not ramble on and on later. Stay and Finish the Trip you started out with. Writers are getting Way off the Path of keeping the Reader"s Interest alive and well. Thank You, and Hope this helps. Hope this remedy will be put in practice real soon. No having to click on Next page over and over again would be a Start in the right direction too. A God Send against Frustration to read the article and quickly to the point. -

AOL gets worse every day. Lots of news to greet you AFTER you scroll scroll scroll...next next next next....you have more ads than news and quite disgusting. I have been an AOL user since the little itsy bitsy Mac was invented not to mention the many PCs thereafter. If I didn't have so much info stored I would delete today. Instead, will print out all saved infrormation ( a good and only thing about AOL right now EXCEPT I do think you have a great scam protector without having to buy one. Please fellow users, no email back to me. I see your thoughts and have too much email to plow thru more...Thanks and appreciation in advance.

It is very time consuming to read a story a little at a time by hitting the next tab - enough ads - you have great headlines but very few people have the time to sit and read thru them. Would be nice if you would change the format.

I really don't enjoy reading the stories you post because of the many ( and I do mean MANY!!) popups on the page constantly obstructing the story material. Do You care?

Get rid of the pop-up advertising! Something at the beginning or the end of an article is fine, but I pay for AOL and I can't read some things for all the ads that get in the way.

There's enough fake news from CNN, MSMBC, NY Times, etc. AOL doesn't need to pile on and charge customers for what used to be a free, relatively unbiased service. Good riddance.

Eliminate Boredom Therapy, and all the others like them. Their only purpose is to circumvent ad blockers and pop-up blocker software by providing 2 or 3 sentences and trivial minutiae of a story and then requiring reader to click "Next" constantly to be inundated with ads. It might be a cleaver way to sell site listings to advertisers, but personally and from comments I see online, no users appreciate this ploy,

I don't know who the lame brain is that thinks that the Bakers ad that invades the screen continuously , But it isn't a good idea. Two results: 1, I quit reading the material, and 2, I don't look at the ad. I just turn off the puter. Thanks alot.

Stop making it impossible to delete offensive advertising! I'm a woman over 75, widowed for 15 years, in good health. I don't want to see ads for dangerous medications or "information" about diseases that affect only men. Since AOL and Yahoo merged with Verizon, everything about your focus has sunk to the lowest level imaginable.

I am continually hit in the face with comments in the food and lifestyle areas SLAMMING BOOMERS. It would seem to me that this is something that AOL would be concerned about, because it is a derogatory statement against a GROUP of people, which I am a member of. How do I get some response to this?

I was "TRYING" to read the piece Historical Past, but those damned ads kept playing and flopping around on the screen including an Avstar (?} ad. I don't know how in the **** you expect anyone to concentrate when all this is going on. My guess is that you are a bunch of teens who spend their days playing video games and are used to this kind of ****. The **** things drive me up a wall, and I just quit what I was reading and go somewhere else. I'm of the opinion that no one reads these things.
