9 out of 10 news Stories I open daily are covered with so many ads I'm unable to read the story. What is worse they are the same ads over and over. Not a single ad interest me & only frustrates me. Aol used to be a great forum to read good stories, read about health issues, now its nothing more then an Advertisement forum that makes Verizon tons of money. Had to go to Firefox to read the news today and nearly everyday anymore...Only thing I use AOL for is my emails and they too are smothered with advertisements.

I was TRYING to read the story on Trendchaset, but those damned ads kept flopping aroudn the left bottom corner. You know, those big ones! After about 4 of those I quit readiing. Thank you so very much for making my reading experience so pleasant. NOT!!!
PS; I don't think any person reads these comments.

Once again you totally incompent desperate bottom feeding pond scum have annoyed us again with the unwanted and annoying expanding ads on the Welcome Page when you have been told too many times that we don't want it. Why do you constantly ignore out suggestions and wants? Are you that desperate to make a buck that you have to resort to such sleazy advertising tactics? What is your excuse, can't read or just too severely ********?
When you hire stupid individuals you can only expect stupid results. Whoever there that is responsible to these annoying expanding ads needs to be fired immediately. We don't need to see them and especially when they popup again on other web pages after leaving the Welcome Screen. -

Your popup ads are really bad. Can't read any news. If not stopped I will discontinue my service of over 29 years.

Turn down the volume on the news item that comes from clicking on the welcome page. It's way, way too loud.

When I see "next" in a story, I close that window and go to another aticle.

You totally incompetent desperate bottom feeding village idiots have been told and told that we don't want the **** expanding ads on the Welcome Screen, why in the **** do you completely ignore our suggestions? Are you that desperate to make a buck that you don't give a **** if you annoy us?
Why don't you just cease in having anything interesting on your shoddy terrible website and just have all advertising instead? Who is the incompetent moron at AOL that is responsible for doing this? Fire this completely ignorant moron now!
Also I have my preferences set for NO popup ads, why do I still get your ads for System Mechanic and the other **** that you peddle? My preferences were set to NO so I wouldn't get your popup ****! AOL has been bad since day 1 but it is getting worse and worse. When you hire Stupid you can only accept Stupid results. -

I've been with AOL for many, many years but "Next" is convincing me to go elsewhere. It is so aggravating and done to promote more ads often the same ones over and over.

Get rid of those irritating ads from Advantis that pop up and have NO WAY of shutting them off. Why am I paying for this service when my screen is covered with ads? It's becoming impossible to view the so-called content because it seems to be taking a back seat to all the ads. The ones from Adventis are the worst! Get rid of them or I may cancel my service.

Whoever had the idiotic idea to replace pic. captions with an ad needs a brain replacement. I was just going through the story on Monopoly and had to poke the caption button which craps up part of the picture, all so I could see a stupid ad. That's all AOL does any more is bombard a person with those damned ads. Enough already!

Please stop the Avantis ads that occlude the right lower quarter of the screen on some of the news items. Either that or make it possible to delete them.

I am soooo tired of all the pop-up ads that continually interrupt my browsing experience.

I know you need to advertise. I quit reading stories you post because you have to go through 20 to 30 pages of 4 lines each and it usually doesn't answer whatever the story was about, or it freezes and you never reach the end without starting all over again
