Unfortunately, what you’re looking for is no longer offered in the current version of AOL Mail. If you’ve received a notification that a limit of the number of sent emails was reached or you’ve sent to too many contacts, you’ll need to wait before you can send more emails.

Please bring back the email whitelist. I want what I had. I've had the email whitelist for 20 years and there should be no reason it was removed all of a sudden. Please bring this back.

I have a large group listing that has more then 50 addresses in it. For years we have used it to communicated and respond with each other about things that are important and of interest to us. Now suddenly AOL limits the group size to less then 50 and I get an "error 400:13" and the important group information can not be sent. So is switching to Gmail the only way I am going to be able to communicate with the whole group again?

Bulk Email - White List
Why can I no longer send out mass emails to my AOL address book? For 15-20 years I have been able to blind copy my address book... maybe 100 at a time over 5-6 hours, sending every 15 minutes to break them up. Tonight (October 12, 2018) Ive not been able to send to more than 10 email addresses... and when I tried to do it 2-3 times, I get errors and unable to send any. VERY FRUSTRATING as I need to send out an email blast to about 2000 people in my address book. PLEASE HELP AND PLEASE ALLOW THIS FEATURE TO WORK AGAIN!!! -

For "security" reasons, I am limited to distribution lists of 50 email addresses. I never abused this feature and now have to split up the lists I used to send in groups of 50. I was told no exceptions can be made.

I am the organizer of a pot luck social supper group with 1700 emails on the list-some of the emails are now non-existent but probably have 300+ good emails of members. I have been sending out the information emails about our monthly social suppers for the last 16 years. Now you change it to just 10 emails!!!! Impossible and it will be the end of our social group!
aLso I teach at 4 colleges with 40+ students and when I need to send out an email it will be 5 emails to each class and total of 20 emails....bad!! go back to allowing mass emails to non-profit groups/people!!!!! Allow at least 300-500!!! -

In the past you could send blind copy emails to large groups which is imperative in the case of storms, Hurricane Florence being the last one. Homeowners associations need to be able to advise clients of state evacuation orders, flood and storm related problems etc and we can no longer use AOL blind copy to do so. This places life/property in danger, as in Hurricane Florence and now Hurricane Michael. Clients in our groups expect to receive updates to make informed decisions on evacuations or visits to Coastal counties. This feature needs to be returned to the AOL format ASAP before someone is harmed.

I have had trouble sending more than 20 BCC to members of our organization. No notice by AOL of the change. I am cancelling my subscription in the morning.

You recently reduced the number of BCC recipients to 50. Above 50 and I get an error message. 50 is far too low for me. I need to BCC about 300 recipients routinely. I now have to send six identical messages. Not good.

We have spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out why a bulk email did not send. The note from AOL only said"Mail failed to send due to error". I have been sending bulk emails to a group for quite a while with recent ones being sent in September. I asked our tech help today what is the magic number of emails that can be sent and they do not know. I think the least that AOL could do is inform people of this recent change. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.....

Please remove the 50 person restriction now included for sending e-mail messages. It is far too restrictive. After all we pay for the use of this server and certainly need to be able to send personal e-mails to however many people we choose to.

Please bring back where I can send bulk email addresses. I run a charity as a volunteer and I need to communicate via email to the followers of this charity. I hope you will consider my request. Thank you.

Up until last week I was able to send emails to more than 50 people at one time. I send emails to High School classmates about reunions and need to send to more than 50 at once. I have the classes in groups by the year and many of the years have more than 50. I know that AOL can set a flag on my account that will allow me to do this. How can we make this happen?

I have been sending out bulk prayers for over 15 years and now I am not able. Our prayer line is very important to our people. I have 75 people on the prayer line and I have put them into three groups and that has been OK. I have several urgent prayers to go out. PLESE allow us to send out bulk mail. I don't get a message that says how many I can send out but I experimented with it and it only allowed 3 or 4. We get all kinds of spam every day so that can't be the reason. I give you permission to check what I send out bulk and you will only see prayers or death notices. I was given permission from AOL years ago to send out these prayers. They looked at what I sent out and said it was OK. I am very upset.

I am the secretary treasurer of an organization. I must send emails to our membership to keep them informed of the status of members, events, etc., Today I was trying to send an email regarding the death of one of our members. I kept getting a message that "your email was not sent due to an error." It did not describe the error. I was just told by a nice young lady in your tech support that you no longer have the "white list" exemption for bulk emails. She told me that now I have to send the same email 5 or 6 times using only a part of my email list in my address book. I am a paying customer (not the free service) and have been since you guys began. I find this a horrible management decision. Now I (a volunteer) must take more time to distribute the same message several times over. I strongly urge you to reconsider this policy. Surely I am not the only person who has run into this problem.

You have just implemented a program whereby only 50 addresses can be used in a mass email, even though we are paying you for mass email privileges. With respect to the Address book group entry which might contain a few hundred or more addresses, there is no way to get just the first 50, then repeat the email for the second 50, and repeat it for the next 50, and so on. Really, stop being judge mental about how we try to do our mass emails. Supposedly, the person who just posted about sending 301 monthly newsletters won't be able to do that any more. You are just ripping us off!
