I don't like having to agree to delete an e-mail. It's one step that is annoying.

In order to disable the prompt, please follow these steps:
1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
2. Click on the ‘Mail’ menu on the top left.
3. Select ‘Mail Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Uncheck ‘Confirm before deleting items’, and close the window (changes are saved automatically).

How long am I going to have to delete emails twice?

Would like to be able to delete an item in my incoming email without having to tell the system that yes I am sure I want to delete it. I spend too much time trying to delete my mail than I do reading it. Would like to go back to the way it was. Don't mind the question to delete or not when I am finished reading the mail. That's good.

I'm so mad I'm asking friends to give me a new site to use---I used to be able to hit "delete" on my e mail--now I have to hit the e mail hit delete then there's a box I have to hit asking me if I REALLY WANT TO HIT DELETE I'm so frustrated with this---it's taken me from ONE STEP TO delete an e mail TO THREE STEPS- I'm really really tired of this--I'm getting further and further getting rid of unwanted e mail and no I don't want to hit ctrl blah blah blah--PLEASE PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!!

For a week now when I delete a message it ends up BACK in the trash bin so I have to delete it again. A big waste of time. Fix this.

Aol Gold is awful and keeps getting worse. Please fire whoever is coming up with these ideas, or you will lose all your customers. Now it takes two clicks to delete new mail if i do not want to read. Whose idea was it to have us waste more time.

I don't like taking an extra step to delete an email. I don't want to be asked If I really want to delete that email. I hope there is a way around this?

Please go back to former method of permanently deleting emails. Once mail was in "recently deleted," all you had to do was keep clicking
"permanently delete." Now, there's an extra step: clicking on permanently delete, and then answering "yes" in the pop-up box. It's tiresome - especially if emails accumulate for a day or so. Get rid of the pop-up box, please. -

Ditch the ******* DELETE CONFIRM POP UP for the delete read inbox and remove deleted mail

Go back to the way it was with one click mail deleting. You would still have the option to restore recently deleted mail.

And you can't use the Y button to confirm yes to delete.

It is absolutely archaic to have to check the Are you sure you want to delete this message box. What a rediculous box to have to check with each message deletion. Why are you asking with each message deletion if I am sure i want to delete it. Time consuming and stupid...

Like may persons I receive >300 emails daily. I need Instant Delete to save time. Otherwise I would spend hours daily deleting unwanted and unnecessary emails. Please restore Instant Delete.
I have to use AOL on the web version to save my day! -

Change the delete mail function back to how it was before, when I didn't have to confirm my deletion. This is very annoying and may be enough for us to cancel our AOL account and try something else.
