I don't like having to agree to delete an e-mail. It's one step that is annoying.

In order to disable the prompt, please follow these steps:
1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
2. Click on the ‘Mail’ menu on the top left.
3. Select ‘Mail Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Uncheck ‘Confirm before deleting items’, and close the window (changes are saved automatically).

Several months ago you made it a 4 step process to delete 1 email!!!! I used to be click Delete once and goes to delete mail box. Now when click DELETE another box comes up and says do you want to delete click delete AGAIN!!! Then in the Recently Deleted email to delete the emails I already had to click TWICE to delete, again a box comes up saying "do you want to delete?" click DELETE a third time. Then to delete it from the folder I have to click DELETE a 4th time!!!! This is outrageous I have to waste so much time to delete an item that used to take only ONE click!! Please revert to the ONE CLICK!!!!

I totally agree! Having to double delete is ridiculous!

Having to go back and "permanently" delete items us ridiculous and a huge waste of time, energy, and digital space for which there is no good reason. The delete key just ought to say "permanently delete" and be done with it.

Remove the confirmation for deleting emails. It adds another unnecessary mouse click. All files are moved to recently deleted anyway.

I was able to delete every email from the delete button without going back to each of them, I want that back in my aol
It is very annoying to have to back to each one to delete because I get too many junk mails
Thank you**** ******

Let us hit one button to delete. Your feature now says: Do you really want to delete this? Do not want that last key.

Wasting Time
When I go to the Permanently Delete screen, why do I have to confirm again that I want to delete those messages. I would like to simply click on the message I want to delete and have it gone. It makes it unnecessarily time consuming to have to make 3 clicks to make a message you already deleted disappear.

having a pop up asking if i really want to delete an email after i click on "delete" is ridiculous. Get rid of the extra step ASAP. it is not needed or appreciated. i HATE having to take this extra step to delete mail. it takes three times as long. please change this for individual emails and also for "delete all" in the spam folder.
ASAP please!!! -

your system of having to click twice to delete emails is very annoying. AT&T has a much better system by letting you choose all emails to delete then hitting delete. Much less annoying and time consuming. I am considering using my AT & T email full time just because of this. Please consider a change.

something just changed in my email. i get a lot of spam. when i try to delete all of the spam, i get this popup to confirm deletion. this never happened until a week ago. i dont like having this popup. its irritating. when i want to delete all spam, i want to delete spam and not have to go through another step

The two steps now required to delete e-mail are cumbersome and time consuming. Couldn't we at least delete more than one at a time?
