probems with aol tech fortress
Your Tech Mary said she was going to connect me to Billing. I told her I thought they were closed tonight but she said I could reach someone by requesting “get live help.” That did not work out.
I have had five problems so far with your app AOL TECH FORTRESS over the three days that your AOLtech convinced me to give it a try. I want it removed ASAP and I should not be charged for it.
Problem #! I neeedd to get on an educational website for a school project. AOL TECH FORTRESS would not allow it. It was a well recognized educational site used by scientists and their students everyday.
Problem#2 I needed help from a Net Gear technician on Jan 12 to install a certain science program I needed; we were finally able to do that after temporarily reducing TECH FORTRESS’s security level to allow install.
Problem#3 Tonight, Jan.13. I was having all kinds of problems with AOL (a) raspy, slow, draw-out audio, (2) up/down cursor to right of email page moved improperly or not at all (c) the three buttons supposed to be on top right of random email pages were absent (minus sign, horizontal rectangle and plus sign) so that page could not be navigated.
Problem#4 Generalized slow response of computer to commands. Computer had recently been optimized.
Your tech could not help me solve the sound problem, nor the other problems, but I did get her to uninstall and reinstall AOL Gold. Sound problem and great slowness persisted. She tried all she knew how to do.I think what she did weventually help, but not while she was working with it. She did not have me do a RESTART.
Problem@5 I called my paid Netgear tech who had great difficulty taking control of my computer since AOL TECH FORTRESS kept popping up and interfering.. And in this case it would not allow me to temporarily reduce the security level. She tried three ways to take control, black and by some different method I don’t understand she finally succeeded. The computer went black and she had me do a 60 sec power down and start it back up. I was sweating, but computer came back on. Sound is now working fine. It seems faster. The few email pages I tried worked OK.
I had trouble with your Super Anti Spyware in the past. McAfee techs had told me on two occasions it was interfering with my McAfee AntiVirus Plus. Every time I call AOL tech, they try to get me to try Super AntiSpyware again. I DO NOT want to try AOL TECH FORTRESS OR SUPERANTI SPYWARE again!
Trying to get this messase to you I lost one AOL Tech tonight. And after I typed this case out for another AOL tech and tried to enter it, I only had message client left the chat and all my typed material was gone, So, I hope you get this chat. Please have AOL Billing call me in AM after 10:00 AM CST, and have someone remove AOL TECH FORTRES from my billing and from my computer. Netgear tech had offered to remove program but I thought you should do it so you can know it is off computer and stop any charges.

PS..Now when I was trying to enter this chat on my computer I find your chat line is CLOSED, and AOL “Live support” wants to charge me. I suggest you get a 24/7 email for customer complaints. Please notice how many years I’ve been a customer and I have resisted all efforts to pull me away.
