Mark emails as being read within your file structure after you actually open them up and read them!
When I see an email in my Inbox, and move it to an email folder of some kind, then click on and open up the email to read it, and then back out - the email still stays bold, without the red "checkmark" on it, and there is NO indication that it has been read. The system always worked the way I just described, but changed today (7/15/20) and no longer works the way it has for years. Whenever one clicks on a "bolded" new email to read it, it should always change state and become unbolded so that one knows the email WAS actually read and addressed .... ALL other email systems I have ever used do that. AOL just shifted so that does not work that way anymore ...
