eliminate fraudulent advertising or watch me change from AOL Gold to a service with better ethics
I've been burned twice by fraudulent advertising that appeared as "story lines" in AOL's newsfeed. I'd really like to avoid having it happen a third time. I'm currently investigating a change from AOL Gold to another e-mail provider. Perhaps another provider will have a better approach to customer service that includes checking potential advertisers to ensure that they are not already documented as being companies with multiple fraud complaints. AOL's customers shouldn't have to initiate an internet search to determine whether they're about to be fleeced by an advertiser. Another e-mail service, even it more expensive, might help me to avoid wasting time in the future.
