Bring back 9.8.2. AOL GOLD is worse than AOL 2.5. Yes, I've been a customer 20 years and GOLD is the worst version ever. -

Bring back the email settings from version 9. I want to get rid of the maiI headers. I used to be able to hide them.

This AOL Desktop Gold "Forum" is as badly organized as AOL Desktop Gold Can not find anything, it is illogical!
AOL Desktop Gold "Forum" needs to be reorganized. Look at all the topics and subtopics. Put them all on a sheet/a page so that we can scroll over each topic to then see the subtopics and then see each person's idea which we want to agree with or tweak a little, something may have been missed, there could be other options. This FORUM is as badly organized as is the AOL Desktop Gold itself!!!

Chat rooms are no more fun and people in the chatr rooms are complaining about this! Why can we no longer share hyperlinks in chat rooms? AOL Gold has taken the fun out of everything.

Since not everyone with aol was forced to accept aolgold I fully expect aolgold to provide me with all of the features that I have had.
I want the edit feature, my choice of backgrounds, colors, calendar, etc. I definitely feel discriminated against with this substandard model. I keep getting refused when I try to send emails with pictures in them for some annoying code of numerous numbers.. I want to know why I continue to receive notices that I have not yet terminated my old aol also. It's so helter skelter if whomever is sending them doesn't even have a record that I'm already being punished with aolgold. It's continues to sound like a threat when I'm already suffering with this new zero 'upgrade'. Maybe…

Need some features from AOL Desktop 9.8 back on here.
1) - Please bring back the ability to use the Delete key on my keyboard, rather than have to use my mouse to delete a mail. In the new technology today, we are using our mouse less and less, and are able to use our keyboard for shortcuts. Seems like aol gold is going backwards on that.
2) - If I open a new mail to share graphicsas embedded, and I have added more than one graphic, then I decide I want to remove one of those graphics and add another, AOL gold completely closes down. all I can do… -
Gold eliminated right click edit on all photos sent by email. This is a serious flaw . Please let me know if will be restored.

Make alternate text appear when holding mouse over an image
Distressing and inefficient. Alternate text describing images or giving other needed information does not appear when you pass mouse over image. It's like AOL is DEAD, I search via AOL by choosing images rather than web results and need to see the alternate text that was assigned to the image. This has also messed up viewing websites.

Attaching Files with aol desktop gold is harder than the old version 9.8.2
To check your attachment you have to download that over and over again.. tn save then have to find where you saved it....3 more steps. Before, Just had to double click attachment and it would open

For AOL Favorites, please re-include the “OPEN” Command in AOL’s File Menu dropdown box, as in AOL 9.8.2
The MANAGE FAVORITES button (now in Version 11.0.1550) allows you to use the ‘SAVE' Option to save a copy of your current AOL Favorites list to a folder of your choice. And the “REPLACE” Option will let you ‘recall’ it in the future for replacing your then-running AOL Favorites list.
Sometimes, however, you need only to simply access (view and display) the contents of one of these ‘saved’ AOL Favorites.fav files (i.e. but NOT ‘replace’ your currently running AOL Favorites).
So please re-include the “OPEN” Option (in AOL’s File menu dropdown box), allowing you to quickly navigate to it and… -
