No longer able to save a composed email draft
There is no longer an option to save a composed email draft??? Even when I right click, there isn't any AOL option or feature that allows me to save this draft. When I exit out of the draft, there was an automatic prompt asking if I wanted to save it. Now, there is nothing and the email just goes away.
I can not even save it as a file!
Additionally, when I read the comments that other users have posted about this identical problem, that issue has been been closed by AOL and voting is blocked for other AOL subscribers…You can always click on the "Send Later" button to save the email.

How can I disable the new auto bulleting feature? Whether I use numbers or dashes, auto indent with bullets pops up. Grrr! Hate it!

All E-Mails Going Into "Trash" Folder
Within the last few months, all my e-mails are being channeled into my "Trash" folder. I can't see a reason for this. Any ideas?

not opening scan mail
When I write an email and attach a scan document into the email I cannot open the scan document to make sure I am sending the right document. I could always open it before, this issue of not being able to open it started about 4 weeks ago. I have talked to two service people, one said she would send it to another department, however, I never heard anything about it. Both time they took AOL of my computer and reloaded it. Allow AOL users to do away with the VIEWS folder (and sub-folders) in our AOL Mailbox.
Being unable to delete the "views" folder in my AOL mailbox is a huge irritation to me. Is there a way to do so that I'm unaware of? I really hope that it's not a matter of AOL assuming it knows best about what its users need and want . . .
You can collapse the folder by clicking on the triangle next to it.

Select Mail
Choose the font and text option.
From here you can select various setting that will increase your text size within AOL Desktop Gold.

File Downloading from a Specific Website
Cannot download a file from mytrs.texas.gov. his is the first time it happened. Everytime I tried to download a file from this website, there's an error message pop-up. Error: Your pop-up blocker is enabled and may be preventing this document from opening. Please review your browser settings to disable the pop-up blocker. AOL agents already tried to look into it, but it seems like the option to remove the blocker is not available at this moment
Please use the "Report a bug" option under the help menu if you see this issue again. That will provide us with some specific information that will help us understand what is happening that might be preventing the download.

aol desktop gold software not including images within email
I am not receiving any images within my emails in 2025. What happened?? Please fix this. I need those images to come through
It appears that AOL is investigating the issue but nothing has changed. I need images to come through in my emails.
Please use the "Report a bug" option in the Help menu the next time you see this issue. This will send us helpful information that will help determine what is going on to cause the images to not appear.

KEEP BROWSER MINIMIZED
Upon opening AOL Desktop Gold I was able to have a minimized browser so the whole program did not take up the whole screen. However, currently when I go to open the program, the whole screen is maximized and I have to also manually open up my mail. Whereas, before the mail would automatically open up within the minimized browser. Need help fixing this
Open settings and go to General. Then click on Startup. In that section of settings, there is an option to open mail each time you open AOL Desktop Gold.

How can I "unblock" incoming Walmart email on AOL Desktop Gold?
Any help appreciated.If an email has been detected or manually marked as SPAM, you should see that email in your spam folder. You can then move that email to the inbox of any other mail folder you choose.

The icon on the toolbar is too small as well as the text on it. Need to make bigger
Too small icon on toolbar.
In AOL Desktop Settings, select Toolbar and check the box "Show large Browser Toolbar". This will increase the size of the browser toolbar.
